31Name some practices of the WTS that are'nt bibical
by Leander inmy personal hell has started since i told my wife i was stepping down and why i was doing so.
she has barely said 2 sentences to me in the last 24 hours, but i can understand her being upset so i'm trying my best to remain patient.. yesterday afternoon i told my cousin who is also one of my closest friends about my decision.
we ended up talking about it for more than 4 hours.

Good for you Patriot- It reminds me of the scripture( ducking to avoid the stones) "I will not leave you or forsake you" The guy needed help- & I believe the LORD used you. He also says he uses broken vessels-I like to say he uses "crack pots" lol
So you were a crack pot- ( as are we all on here) but I commend you.
It reminds me of a 21 year old JW lad- who was thrown out of his JW home- because they found "apostate" stuff in his room.It was late at night- he was crying & knocked at a house to see if he could use there phone- The homeowner welcomed him in -even offering him a beer( he didnt take it)But allowed him to call me long distance-He had heard about me- from 1-800-Why-1914.
Hey he didnt even believe in God.........He was able to come stay with me- until his parents repented & let him back home..... -

Do you beleive in God, the bible or religion?
by Leander ini'm pretty sure this question has probably been asked before but i'd like to put it out here and see what the responses are.
my doubts about the bible probably began maybe 6 or 7 years ago, they were very small ones however and i managed to supress them for quite a while.
however certain events in my life would make those events resurface.

I do believe in God- As to the Bible? I believe it is a map- to exist - I must say when I read the OT I am disturbed- but when I read the words in RED ,Jesus supposedly said, I feel contentment-
I look around at the Things God created- I am in awe- I look around at man/woman creates I am fed up.....
I feel that My God has given me the strength to go on- even though after losing three children to death & one to the Watchtower- I have felt the big question "WHY GOD"?
But I feel my relationship with Christ is the comforting "fellowship" I am needing- so I keep close in prayer to Him.... -

((((((all of you )))))I read your stories & my heart aches. After reading "Jehovahs Witness & Mental Illness" by Jerry Bergman ( an ex)
I relized I wasnt as bad off ..I had thought of suicide so often when they "ousted" me.
After listening to the anguish that all of us went through after finding they were not the truth- I have to wonder if any of those at Bethel ( top guys) ever really wonder if they are evil.
I cannot for the life of me believe they would stay there willingly- after hearing of the very sad things that go one with those they dispose of.When I asked " what would happen if I kill myself" when they said they were chucking me out after over 20 yrs faithful service)The Bro?? shrugged his shoulders. I was devastated. I loved them all so much... -

Well it is on page 4 In the article "Who Is God"( it has a branch with white lilies or something on it. )Some one called me about it-I dont have the article with me. Sorry- It is asking the question Impersonal or personal. It sorts of contradicts itself- It says Yes he does have a body- but he is only spirit- This is what the person who called me says.
