  the average jw elder participates in extra exclusive activities over and above the rank & file jw: among them are the judicial committees, private meetings with the circuit and district overseer on various official occasions, possession of the secretive flock book, and kingdom ministry school.. of all these, the least frequently experienced is km school.

  it is not all that exciting, because much of what is covered is admonition about what most jws already know that elders are supposed to be doing: examples in field service, regular shepherding calls, meeting preparation and attendance, study with the family, etc.

  thx amazing. naturally, these instructions to elders are interpreted differently by different bodies since they are left intentionally vague. but how bizarre to contemplate that whereas on the one hand, failure to confess a secret sin is tantamount to unrepentance, on the other hand, especially if continued long enough, evidence of jehovah's forgiveness.

  i love the spookiness involved with going to a hall after so long. and the excitement about catching some damning words on tape. take it from someone who still goes enough, there will be nothing remotely interesting enough to be worth recording, converting and posting. trust me. but have fun anyways TR!

  despite the apparent redundancy, i would like to introduce the subject from a different perspective.

  around 1996 i came in contact with a jw pioneer named "francesco annunziata" from naples, italy.. francesco was involved with a man (inactive jw) named angelo palego, with whom he has made several expeditions to mt.

  ararat searching the famous ahora gorge for remnants of the ark.. the majority of the more technical and geological/scientific information is in italian, but there is enough information posted in english to merit attention.. i posted this subject in an effort to move away from discussing the flood, size of the flood and/or location of the flood.

  i dont think the fact the photos are doctored is in question. UR accepts that and the correspondance i posted earlier seems to indicate that palego admitted it at some point. but he suuuure seems less than candid about it. 'ELAB' in tiny tiny letters, and using the word 'images' instead of photos. shouldnt it be right at the top of the page with these images, in big letters: "NOT REAL PHOTOS - RECONSTRUCTIONS ONLY TO AID IN ILLUSTRATING WHAT OUR RESEARCH LEADS US TO BELIEVE IS BURIED HERE"? he torpedoes his credibility with his piss-poor presentation.

  unfortunately, journalists are quite often braindead, and prints what they are told without checking the facts.

  here is an exaple of a guy who should be fired for being absolutely hopeless!.

  this is pretty vague, and im sure readers here will recognize the WT-esque style . i thought the issue was why he has posted doctored photos without clearly labeling them as such. was that not one of your questions, UR? i assume they arent honestly trying to pass these off as genuine.
