You said she woke up crying, she then confessed to you. That seems like she is genuinely remorseful. Maybe she just wants to know she is still sexy to other men, it may have been a way to reinforce her worth in some twisted way.

Maybe she is like a child, and by telling you she was going out with girlfriends, she was hoping you would say 'No', an effort to know what the boundries are in your relationship.

Do you still love her? Does she still love you? Counseling can help.

Sometimes people just act stupidly, then realize how dumb they were and how they jeopardized what is important in their life, and are truly remorseful.

I hope that whatever you do, you can find peace of mind.

In the 1940's, some gnostic scrolls were found in Egypt. They are dated from around A.D. 350-400. Irenaeus, the orthodox Bishop of Lyons, refers to other gospels written by heretics. Irenaeus wrote his work around A.D. 180. He could not have refered to 'other' gospels if there were no original gospels existing at that time.

Weird JW Dreams

i think it's a given that most of us who have left, have had dreams about still being jw's or doing jw related things, even years after we left.

i had one of those last night.

it involved getting a hotel for the next district convention and then it skipped ahead to when i was attending.

Why not, you could have traveling Surfing-seers, a new beach every week! Everyone could have their special Saturday morning swimming suits, no ties or pantyhose. Instead of coffee breaks, you could have barbeque breaks

Why did/does there appear to be an unusually high number of "Germanic" names in the Governoring Body compared to others?

today as i was researching past and present members of the governoring body of j.w.

's something stood out to me that seemed out of proportion towards other name origins.. the vast majority appeared to be from the germanic peoples.

either they were originally from germany themself or their parents immigrated from germany.. here are some of the ones i researched and you should be able to spot just from their names a hint of their origins:.

ekruks-Maybe you should write it down and market it, like a modern day Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. You could say you found it under a maple tree in Minnesota. Just think you could start your own religion, complete with making those women you dream about doing whatever you want through mind-control techniques. Lots of people could throw money at your feet and build you a house on the beach somewhere. The house could be called Beth-Surfers, built to await the resurrection of the next great wave....

I usually have dreams of armegeddon and dying and not being resurrected, my family is all around saying how much they wish I had made it into the Paradise.

Creeps me out.

Do YOU Believe That JWs Have A Huge Problem With Pedophiles?

i don't think there are more pedophiles in the religion than there are in others.. i understand that one is too many.

but i think some believe that it's an epidemic within the organization.

i believe their 2 witness rule can help pedophiles secretly abuse kids.. but i don't think that this particular crime dominates those in the religion.. .

Once upon a time, I was asked by a relative what they should do: Their bible study was coming to the KH, and there was a convicted pedophile there. After consulting with the elders, they told the relative they COULD NOT tell the bible study about the pedo, it was slander. What to do, what to do?

I told the relative to go to the local newspaper, get a copy of the arrest article, and hand it to the study. Public information, no slander.

This is exactly what the relative did. That way the bible study was in the know.

By the way, this congregation had 3 pedos I knew of, two were convicted felons after being discovered. The other was kept safe by his wife, while his step daughter was DF'd for immorality at a later time. Oh Yeah, he claimed to be annointed!!!
