Add your favorite JW prayer cliche'
by King Solomon inyou know what i'm talking about: the trite, often-repeated phrases that convey the person offering the prayer has drawn a mental blank, and utters these words while their brain desperately searches for the next cliche', so they can conclude the ritual with the required tag, "in jesus' name we pray".... (is that like the postage stamp?).
ok, i'll kick this one off, and take the most obvious:.
"forgive us where we fall short....".

FreeGirl-Ironically, I just got one reading your story on JWFacts, then to come back here and find you posted was great! You probably should be glad that you don't remember anything from that vacation, he sounds like an idiot. I find that I cannot recall huge chunks of my life, but not because of Ambien...stress from being raised a JW, and all the guilt and OCD problems that went with it.

Nomad-I don't think the man minded having anal sex, she was in a mind altered state. Ambien is considered a hypnotic drug, so the user doesn't know what they are doing, but they can still do things. There are warnings all over the prescription bottle about doing all kinds of things in a sleeping state.

i'm 20 and have been studying since i was 14 (not a publisher) but i honestly didnt really look into the witnesses or analyze what they said.
all i wanted was to learn more of the bible lol, but recent events have made me notice how pushy they can be.

I was under the influence of Ambien when I wrote the orginal topic post. My spelling was atrocious!
There are newer meds, I'm thinking of trying Lunesta or some other product, the clinical testing results on Ambien, early death and cancer of the brain are somewhat scary.

Screwed up the other post, so I'll try again. Ambien has been list as causing all kinds of unwanted behavior done while the person is sleeping. Thing like sleep driving, sleep eating, facebooking, having sex. One woman wrote that while under this hallucinating drug, see saw a pop up add about cruising to scandanvia. She whip out her credit card and booked a trip. The trip was unrefundable, so they had to go...she said it was difficult to enjoy the trip, bedause you know that at the moment your home is getting foreclosed on.
Another woman ended up drivig while asleep over to her fiance house, she yell until he came outside, where she proceeded to force him to havd anal sex with him, while they were in full of everyone. Once they were done, she hopped in her car and drove home. The next day, the fiance called to find out what the f-ck was going on. She could remember nothing. She was utterly humiliatedl
I one time was viewing picture of Vietnam, I had already taken My ambien, the next thing I know an add for 'meet asian men comes up. I filled out the form! I didn't remember doing it. Sometimes I come into the kitchen and there are cookie crumbs on the counters and an empty box of cookie. I quiz my kids, and they did not know anything about it. They are somewhat miffed to have the cookie gone.

I think we are being shunned
by hoser init seems like lately we have been missing out on a lot of invites to congregation gatherings and our field service group has gatherings but we never seem to get invited.
btw this is not a bad thing.

Sounds like that could be the case. Unless there is a lot of nepotism in your congregation. We always ended up at congregations where one half of the congregation was related somehow to the other half. We were always the odd man out family, no one was related to us at all.
You are right, it's not a bad thing, it is to be expected in a successful fade.
