if you had 1 wish that you could have granted that would change something about your past, what would it be?
My one and only wish would be to see my brother once again and tell him how much I love him and how much I admire him. Honest man, with so much integrity. He was shy and quiet but an excellent judge of character. His name was David and he died November 3rd, 1992 from a stray bullet (a freak accident really). He was only 25 when he died. He lived in Brazil and I was already in Seattle and could not go home for the funeral. I got there about a month after the fact.
Weird thing not to be able to say your good byes, it feelt like it never really happened. Left me feeling empty, sort of, like one day he just vanished. I miss him so much, still do and for the longest time was not ready to let him go. His death is a major bench mark in my life and I can never be the carefree and happy person I was before.
HOW I WISH I COULD SEE HIM ONCE AGAIN AND TELL HIM WHAT A GREAT MAN HE WAS!!!!
I do thank God for giving me the honor to call him my brother. He lived his brief life well and touched many lives.
Please don't hold back from the ones you love. Let them know how much you care and how much you appreciate them in your life.
Love,
Deb

local elder called tonite, with a witness on the phone to ask if it is true we were smoking ?
we said yes, and we know who told on us.
it was a ms who was at the club just last week with another woman, not his wife of course, while she was at the meeting.
Congratulations!!!
May this start a "chain" reaction w/ all your JW family members and friends and may your kid(s) enjoy
the best X-mas ever!!!!!

for those of you who are not "fortunate" enough to live in california, here is a copy of the california driver's exam, and for those of you who do, study .
real hard.
this is a new exam.
This is funny and I am sure not far from the truth.
When I lived in CA I had to take the written test 2 times and had to pay a $300.00 PENALTY fee b/c my car wasn't "approved" by California Standards eventhough it did pass the emission test, ( BTW it was a brand new car), and after I passed the test and paid all the fees still could not get my permant license b/c I did not have residency in CA. . Things there are "whacked out" I swear.

is he a good husband?
to be fair to your husband, please don't answer these questions unless you are emotionally calm and in a pleasant mood.
Thank you Dede :)
That was so sweet of you!!! I'm not one for boards and stuff like that but I really enjoy coming here. It gives me a whole different perspective in Jay's upbringing and how his past experiences growing up as JW affects our lives today. I have never been in any particular religion and knew almost nothing about Jw's doctrine.
"The board" became something that we enjoy doing together and has brought us closer together. As for "hogging the computer" you are so right - but I will come in and chat sometimes.
(((((hugs))))))

Well as far as hubbys go I can't complain.
My husband (D8TA) and I will be married for 7 years this coming fall. I have to confess that it hasn't been always so easy but it has definetively been the best thing that could have happened to me. He is handsome, kind, sweet, smart, funny but above all he has a lot of integrity. Did I mention sensitive??? He is a very romantic guy.....
Oh well, I guess I am just a lucky gal....
PS: Love ya hon ;) - very fitting to be my first post in this board. :)
