Well, I was a born-in and I was thought we (JW) were unique in our doctrines.... that is why finding similarities at this stage (recently out) is surprising ...

final day judgement when actions will be either punised or blessed in a physical resurrection .... jesus not seen as god (trinity), no celebration of birthdays.
mmmmm i wonder how much other religions have influenced the jw "biblical" points of view ???

OMG! Ive been reading about no JC before announcements made of d'ed ..... WTF??!!! Few years ago that was unheard, as far as i know. I remember 10 or 8 years ago, this sister who barely went to meetings and everybody knew she was having an affair with a worldly married man and she wasnt d'ed as she never attended to a JC. So now they changed the rules? hhummmmmm :S

Here i feel heard ..
by Dudu ini have this situation with my active jw friends and nobody else but you guys can clearly understand... my friends are very zealous jw coz i was one of them when i started fading... most of them live out of country or few hours away from me, they dont know im fading they dont know i have a worldly boyfriend, they dont know i havent attend a meeting since 6 months ago .... some are calling , as usual and honestly i dont wanna talk to them, not because they arent nice, but because i feel like a double faced person and i dont know ..... at the same time that doesnt help with my fading coz some of them will be really concern and will start asking around to know how im really doing :s should i just be honest and stop this charade?.

My best holidays ever !!

today is my birthday and i ve been receiving good news and love since last week from my loved ones... thursday night my boyfriend gave me a birthday present, saturday nigth christmas dinner with my family including my mom and my boyfriend :) (my mom hated my bf and that night they got along so well!
) yesterday my boyfriend took me to a nice beach club and we had a great time with his friends, this morning i received a birthday party from friends in my building !!!

Xmas dinner tonight at my sisteer's house

she is the typical person who celebrates christmas but is not religious.
all these years i have missed most of my sisters xmas parties because of the jw teachings.

Tonight we will have a dinner at my sister's house. She is the typical person who celebrates christmas but is not religious. All these years i have missed most of my sisters xmas parties because of the JW teachings. My JW mom lives in my sis house and she is the one calling me today to join them :0 She wants me to go earlier and to sleep over... I think she just miss me, but, this could be tricky. I am going to the dinner tonight and i will spend time with my family for sure, besides my sisters are great cookers so the food will be delicious. I am dont think i should sleep over and spend a full day with my mom, she always wants to have this JW conversations with me that annoys me ... Anyways, I will see what can be done.

Today was the first time to see an elder since 5 months ago
by Dudu init was surprising , i was in my building drinking something in a cafe downstairs and there they were, an elder and a young sister preaching.. maybe return visit, they were from the congregation i was attending when i started fading.
what was really shocking was the fact that we passed by each other and they didnt noticed me!!
they were having a conversation and i think they didnt notice me, or they just ignored me ???
