I AM THINKING OF BECOMING A CULT LEADER- ANY SUGGESTION?
by Mr Facts ini am quite impressed at the power the gb wields globally and it prompted in me the strong desire to start my own religious cult.
i wouldnt any hurt anyone though, my goal is just to experience the privilege that power and authority gives and in the process grow financial empire.. i am presently putting down some strategies down in paper and i have been watching many videos on youtube and accessing cult-related materials, learning from cult leaders arround the world and observing their modus operandi.
please if you do have any suggestion, freely offer it, i will appreciate it so much.. .

OK folks, do you know your southern language?
by jam inwhen i served where the need is great, i wrote down some.
of the most amazing phrase that people say in the south.. straight to the point.. a few that i found.
guess what is being said.. 1) as easy as sliding off a greasy log backward.. 2)busy as a stump-tailed cow in fly time.. 3)either fish or cut bait.. 4)even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then.. 5)happy as a dead pig in the sunshine.

I think many of you will return to the religion one day
by free2beme ini don't mean this as an insult, more of a life experience thing.
i saw a lot of people leave in my years there and a lot were angry with the religion and the people, and some even protested the kingdom halls and wrote things in the newspapers.
a lot though, came back in time, as it was just the comfort zone they felt at ease in.

What is there to go back to? NOTHING! If I am going to live a lie, it's going to be a hell of a lot better than the WT.

March 2012 Interview with Dr. Fridey, CEO of the Red Cross headquarters in Pomona, Calif.
by Lady Lee inpeople need to see this video.
if you have any lingering doubts about those who critisize ex-jws who try to refute the jw stance on blood transfusions or are unsure where you stand on the issue regarding accepting or even donating blood this is a must see.
it is long but worth watching.. now if only i can figure out how to embed it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzzotomct38 .

I understand, I make youtube videos myself. When I mark something as unlisted, it is for a reason. That's why I asked.

Haha, punishment for an elder breaking confidenciality? This is the boys club, maybe, just maybe a finger wag. There is a loophole in the elders manual for elders not to be punished for serious sin, not even lose their position. Breaking confidenciality? haha, that's nothing.

Is there a reason it is marked as unlisted? I would like to share it, if it is unlisted for a reason, I will refrain.

The best ex-JW books - and what made them unique...
by cedars inat some point in my life, i would really like to write a book about my jw experience and jw teachings in general.
however, if i did, i would preferably like to write from a unique angle that makes the book a little different from the many others out there.
i can imagine some being quite self-indulgent, and i would want to avoid that wherever possible.. i must confess, due to a variety of circumstances i am not well read when it comes to all the various ex-jw books out there.

I've read quite a few. Crisis of Consciene was one of the best I've read so far. Not just the subject matter but the style. Personal experience or observation mixed in with facts.
I have read ex-jw memoirs, those are nice, but no real facts, documents n stuff. I have read some informative stuff on the WT, and soo steeped in facts only and it gets soo dry. I nice mix of both is my personal preference.
