How can you forgive an abuser while they are still abusing? The WT is a vile corp who keeps hurting people I care about. Until that stops, the forgiving can't start.
Ironically, since waking up to the reality of the WT, I have since been able to forgive many JWs in my life, let go of many personal resentments I didn't even know I had. It is not the JWs, it is the Corporation they follow.

i wanted to give her a challenge when she attends this year's district convention, and offer that i would attend next year's dc if i was incorrect.. .
I have listened to a few of the DC talks....you have nothing to worry about. If the rest of the talks follow the same line, you will not be attending next year.
did you change the way you dress after leaving the wt?.
I don't own a single dress or skirt. I have summery dresses, but the are the kind that would never be allowed in a KH.
I haven't worn pantyhose since I left.

this is such a ronald mcdonald court case.

i am stunned by candace's huge court victory.
it is overdue.
i have been reading comments on jvn, huffington, san jose mercury, nbc, and other sources.
I'm really curious what will come from it. I know I discussed this in depth with the local sisters who were meeting with me. I told them it was coming (not this case specifically) but that the pressure was on re: the pedophilia scandal. I would love to be a fly on the wall when she finds out.
