Hi Farkel, I miss your acidity! I hope you are well.
Awake&Watching
i don't believe there is a heaven that so many religions teach, do you?
it all sounds like a fairy tale made up to make dying easier or as a threat to make someone have a conscience... i got into a discussion about it with my jw converted to catholic daughter and she just couldn't believe anyone could feel like i do.
i am glad she threw away the jw teachings and glad she believes in something so wonderful but i for one just can't.

they would not take no for an answer.... they made me feel uncomfortable!!.
I used to hesitate to cut people off since I had been there myself but now I have no problem with it. I even sold cable door to door when I was a witness. I didn't do as well as I might have because I did take "no" for an answer.
i need your guys help.. some of you might know some of my past from other posts...but new life changes have happened to me.. i have recently joined the united states navy.
i was orginally going in as a nuclear engineer...i have instead opted for a much less boring life in the advanced electronics computer field (aecf) rate.
my father's side of the family (who has been out for 20+ years) are very excited and proud of me for my decision.
I am sad that you you got out of one matrix and into another imho. I am also sorry you have to go through what you have with your Mom, her reaction is over the top considering her FB post. I wish you the best.
would anyone reccomend a good material on .
(1) the history of the world.
(2) the history of religion.. i am just interested in man's development over the years to create gods for himself, any good book would be appreciated, and a review of the book highlighting a short summary is also welcome..
ANYTHING by Howard Zinn but his "A People's History of the United States" is a masterpiece. He recommends "A People's History of the World" by Chris Harman.
