COVID 19 - DISSOCIATION LETTER
by gavindlt indear friends,.
i think you all know me as a person who has always strived, despite my imperfections to only ever wanting to be and remain in the “truth”.
it is in fact what i so desperately want for my son ashton and my baby girl honey bee, to be lovers of truth and grow up to be a loyal servants of jehovah god and his son, jesus christ.

for the PIMO question as to A. Morris
by enoughisenough inhave the rank and file been told not to "gossip", or "question" about mr morris yet?
i am mindful of how questioning decisions was discouraged and being told to keep things confidential.
( maybe too soon, but do share if a special needs part comes up) you would think that common sense would tell them they cause the questions when they don't share reasons.

XBEHERE: Alcoholism is a health matter. Alcoholics have something in their brain that other folks don't, and it induces a craving for alcohol. I was married to an alcoholic and had to learn some things about it. There is supposedly a new drug which helps alcoholics diminish the craving for alcohol.

Anthony Moriss nervous breakdowns and Bethel stress!
by Witness 007 inso karl klien of the governing body gave his life story in the watchtower talking about his stress, nervous breakdowns and pressure to take the lead.
it was aweful.
maybe anthony had the same problem..

Sooner or later, a Bethel PIMO will help us know the real story. I expect Morris to be bitter. He may lash out. I don't expect the kind of honest appraisal that Ray Franz wrote.

Like most organizations, psychopaths are most likely to be the leaders. They are rarely interested in any of the problems of their fellow humans. We've all heard the "sage advice" set out by cyberjesus above.

Can YOU see Jehovah's hand in this matter? May 2023 Study WT
by BoogerMan instudy watchtower may 2023 p. 12, par.
14: “she poured out her heart to jehovah, asking him for help.
the consulting doctor took an interest in their case.

No, I don't see "Jehovah's hand" in any of this. I see the government's hand. I see the doctor's hand. "Satan's system" can be counted on to come through.

I'm 75 years old. I've had some hard times, but I realize I've been lucky overall.
I spent my earliest years in Appalachia (Tennessee) with my grandparents. They were wonderful people. My mother was 16 when I was born, and married to my narcissistic father. I was lucky to live with my wonderful grandparents on a 12-acre farm. Like most Appalachians (hillbillies), we were poor by American standards.
We lived in a 3-room log cabin chinked with mud, had no indoor plumbing, minimal electricity, and a shotgun.:-)For food, my grandparents planted all sorts of vegetables, and my grandfather plowed with a mule. My grandmother milked the cow every day as I watched. Then she churned butter. We had chickens which lay plenty of eggs. About once a week, my grandmother would catch a chicken, chop its head off on a tree stump, pluck it, singe it, and cook it. We had hogs, and a smoke house full of pork. In retrospect, I am very grateful to have had this experience.
When I was 10, I had to go live with my parents, brother and sister in a 2-room apartment in Ohio. That was traumatic for me because my parents were quite different from my grandparents, and I was no longer an only child. I had to go to a big city school with city kids, which I did not find pleasant.
About this time, I met the JW's. I posted my JW story on this forum. I was baptized at 17, the only one in my family to be that stupid at that time.
At 21, I married a JW elder, 9 years older than me. I was not in love with him, and I deeply regret doing it. He was arrogant, uneducated, and had too many stupid rules.
At 32, I moved to Nevada, where I had a cousin, leaving my JW husband behind. We had a daughter, so it was not easy. But I survived.
After my daughter grew up, life got better. I finished college and had a decent life.

Children love it when they get positive feedback from adults. This makes them vulnerable to JW propaganda. It is pure evil not to wait until a child is educated and sufficiently mature to make their own choices.

The Hubris of the Governing Body
by cofty init's difficult to comprehend how arrogant the members of the governing body must be to sanction much of the content that appears in their literature.
they identify themselves as the 'faithful and discreet slave' - that alone requires an astonishing degree of pride.
but what is even more amazing - arguably to the level of insanity - is the way they then use that phrase to elevate themselves above the rest of the organisation.

I can't cite the particular chapter and verse, but the Bible (which they profess to believe) says that one who is exalting himself will be humbled, and the one humbling himself will be exalted.
It is the epitome of arrogance to claim that you, one of 9 white males and one black male, are the only people on earth who can understand scripture sufficiently to explain it, especially when not having studied ancient history, languages and culture!
