Blondie, Thanks! Its nice to know that someone is looking for my posts. I am not concerned at getting a lot of posts though. I have been around here for quite a while now and only about 200 posts. I guess I do a lot more reading than posting. I also enjoy reading your posts.

There are not any posters here that I would consider my friends. I am usually the quiet type. I have found that the posters here don't seem to be all that interested in what I have to say anyway. But I still enjoy being here, and reading all the great threads.

Dantheman, I am no lawyer, but they will not fire you for what you said happened. They may ask you to take sensitivity training. If asked about this situation again, Please stress that how could I have possibly harassed her when she didn't even remember anything about it the next day. All you were doing was the polite thing. Don't worry about.

Good questions. I am not a JW apologist, But in response to your first question. I find it difficult now to own a home, maintain it, maintain it, maintain it, raise a family, continue to somehow afford the cost of health insuraance, work 8 hours a day, etc. I can only imagine how much tougher it would be for me to do all that PLUS go to all the meetings, service, prepare, study. The last time I really was going to meetings consistently was while I was in an apartment, single. Easier then. It really is a lot to ask from the governing body. I hope that they can appreciate how much dedication it takes from there followers. They think they have the right bacause they believe Jehovah speaks through them.

Frank, I have no reason to doubt your comments on what happens to individual letters that are sent in to the watchtower. I sent in a letter a number of years ago, and received a blanket letter that said my comments were forwarded to my local elders. For some reason, I thought that my letter would get the personal attention of the people at brooklyn. I thought if this is Jehovahs organization, they will take the time to respond. Some who write letters do so because they NEED that personal contact to put there minds at rest on issues. Issues that may involve the local body of elders. I guss I can see how they cannot answer every letter though. Sad , I think.
