**** Some people don't teach their children manners. Grrr. ****

Being polite would not be about simply having rules about what type people we need to be considerate to. The polite thing for the lady at the library to do was to decide for herself if there could have possibly been some more room made for someone who was looking to sit down, whether it be young or old male or female.
IMHO ( Don't get mad at me anybody. O.K.?)

I was in the checkout line at the library the other day, and a elderly (upper 80's) woman skipped right in front of me. And upon leaving, She so nicely let the door slam on me. I also had a elderly lady bump her cart into me at the checkout of a grocery store in an effort to get me to hurry up.

Sometimes I feel like I am going crazy with the WT teachings
by verystupid77 ini went to the meetings this week because we have the co's visit.

"Yeah, right. And I should set my foot on fire to see if fire is actually a myth or will my skin actually burn up !! "
Hi Flipper, The point I was trying to make was that if Verystupid (smart) continues to go to meetings, then we need to play by their rules and accept what they teach. Otherwise, It will tear us up if we keep going and constantly fight in our minds that it's wrong. I am not at the point in my life where I will tell someone to not go, or that the teachings are all wrong. Just because that is the conclusion I came to ,doesn't mean others will do the same and I respect that. I have been wrong before about a lot of things, so I don't try to judge others.

If you want to continue being a witness, You should consider bad judgment by elders to be an exercise in patience, and trust that Jehovah will eventually clear things up in his own way and time. The fact that an appeal can be made about judgments shows that some amount of fairness is attempted. Nothing is ever perfect though.Life is never fair all the time. But if you believe that the basic teachings are wrong, then leave.
Mouthy got it right when she called you VERYSMART

Coco elevates us all to a more loverly reality.
by hamsterbait indont you just love reading cocos posts.. i see him as a poster of exquisite refinement and learning.. he composes too you know.
but i will not ask him to send me some of his music anymore.. ah - serenity reigns supreme.. i am actually very happy , coco that your almost suicidally depressive sounding post on the " scottish play" was not a real indication of your mental state.. hb.

Classic Comedy Shows
by Yizuman inthe carol burnett was one of my favorite shows, something you don't see being written like this anymore..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9t8i4fknvo.
i love tim conway and harvey (r.i.p) korman, tim is always cracking up harvey and often times tim ad-libs outside of the script, sending the entire cast into laughing fits as well as the audience..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qqe_wmagjy.

"Anyone remember "Square Pegs"?"
Yes, I watched it a few times, I think Sarah Jessica Parker played in it. Not that I am a fan of hers.
