  That's OK, Stephanus. There are also some of what I call "3rd Generation" Adventists out there, ready to go again; they even have fresh dates for all the prophecies. So, why not a fresh Pyramidologist or two??

  After all, there is only a little over four decades left to make it 200 years of this circular BS. And we are now in the third century of this: (1844-1899, 1900-1999, 2000-20xx).

  She was closer to 18 years of age!!!! The 8 was a rating the 1-10 scale for feminine pulchritude. She achieved the "fox" status, as we call it in the states. Still, who wants to bring a Dub witch home???

  YES, the Bible is a useful book. But, the answer to your question can be had by going to current songwriting archives (well, reasonably current, anyway). Songwriting tends to follow recent trends more closely.

  I had almost the exact same experience in High School as the one you described, at almost the same time!!!

  I still go for the U.S. Army motto: "Be All That You Can Be". Now, they have their head on their shoulders, not up their ass.

  "I've had JWs tell me that the WTBTS never really discouraged kids from going to college and that it was a personal decision on their part. THAT IS HORSE HOCKEY! I was there and lived it."

  Agreed, and it goes double: I received "shepherding visits" over going to night school. So did another "brother" who was told to get specific job-related training by his JW boss!!!

  no movies hardly to take your kids to or that a christian can watch.

  years ago, at an elder's school, the subject of secret sins and masturbation was discussed.

  the instructer mentioned how "secret sins" could affect the spirit of the congregation.

  when the subject of masturbation was"handled", a brother decided to put his hand up to "confess".this was obviously not meant to be a question and answer discussion, but the co called on the elder.

  If there were somebody here that was going back your way, you have certainly hindered that by being beneath contempt in your actions.

  There are many here who have been persecuted by Jehovahs Witnesses. Many were denied the opportunity to fully further their education by mental cruelty of relatives; this constituted the intentional infliction of mental distress. The only role models they had access to in their formative early years pushed them away from their full development and potential.

  You further insult those people by coming here and acting the fool. To do so in the name of their torturer is subjecting these people to further mental distress.

  I hope you enjoy purposely being a laughingstock in the name of Jehovah.

  If you have any honesty, you would see what your local Judicial Committee will do with such a spectacle.
