  What Makes You Feel Loved?

  what does it take in order for you to feel absolutely loved by your significant other?

  do they have to talk to you in a certain tone?.

  do they have to touch you in a certain way?.

  Time. If someone makes time for you it shows that they care.
  Time for little things, a quick phonecall, an email or a text message.
  If someone tells you they have been "sooooooo busy" that they didn't have
  the time to do something small like that I feel it shows they don't really care.
  Even the busiest person can find a few minutes during a day.

  Does the Bible scare anyone else here sometimes?

  maybe i'm just messed up, but i get really freaked out sometimes.

  i can't understand the bible,.....in some places it seems like it's saying all you have to do is one or two things, then it seems like it's saying you have to do different things to be saved.... so many different people and religions have so many different takes on the bible.

  i don't know which to beleive, and it scares me that if i beleived the wrong thing that i could go to hell, or just go to sleep forever as the witnesses say.

  The Bible doesn't scare me. What scares me is what people do with it. Twisting meaning into it's words and using it as an excuse for endless horrors and general shittiness.

  my best friend just called me and told me that his 18 year-old sister, a jw but not yet baptized, is getting married very soon.

  she has had a boyfriend, a jw not baptized either and they have been having sex regularly.

  her mother sent her 2000 miles away to try to prevent this from happening anymore.

  I reckon 95% of JW marriages are simply so the couple can have sex without the guilty conscience. I've lost count of the number of sisters I had met at one DC only to see a year later with husband and six children in tow (slight exaggeration re the kids). :)
  I am so pleased I never ever felt the urge to get hitched while I was in.

  Anyone Noticed Wild Animals Returing

  here in nc there have been several species of wild animals returning to this area.

  when i was young there were no dear, wild turkeys, skunks, chip monks, beavers, ground hogs, and some others i've forgotten.

  the reason i notice them so much is they are being killed on the road by cars.. i guess the reason is because people hunted them so much in my youth that they killed them all out.

  There was a fox sitting on my wheelie bin the other night and my mate the Robin followed me in from the garden to pinch something from the cats bowl. Armageddon is coming for sure, I could see it in the flame red feathers of that evil Robin and the Fox's tail..........

  Savoury stuff, cheese especially. I can live without booze for months and don't crave sweet things but the thought of cheese on toast is hard to resist. :)

  i used to read so passionately, but i've lost the hobby due to everyday life stress and distractions.

  i want to get back into reading again.

  Right now I have a stack to get through including James Joyce - Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, The Assasination of Julius Caesar - Michael Parenti and sitting on the shelf staring at me is a copy of War and Peace I bought during a moment of madness in an Oxfam book shop.
  I have read Dune about five times and Lord of the Rings about the same amount, great stories you can really immerse yourself in.

  They'll build one of their characterless windowless cells on a crappy plot
  and give the money left over from the sale of the old hall and land to the
  society, so the boys in Brooklyn can carry on living in comfort.
  All for Jehovahs glory of course.
