  There is one way to save the JW religion

  stop referring to it as "the truth".. "the world" is not going to turn on you because you are all great shining examples of human beings.

  if "the world" turns on you, it's because you are a dangerous cult.. taze russell and rutherford were both nuts.

  but "the light gets brighter"...the light was already bright, it's called the christian greek scriptures.

  For those who still see the Creator YHVH (Yahveh, Jehovah) as worthy of contact,

  a church or sect isn't the only way.

  Adam, Noah, Abraham and Isaac had NO CHURCH to go to.

  Somehow they "qualified."

  I think we can too. :)

  this was some of the most blatant , aggressive , controlling information i've seen in awhile in the " witness only " version of the wt.

  of course, it's always blatant, but the manner that was used in this article was so authoritative and demanding - it's apparent the wt society is losing members and they are amping up the control tactics to keep members trapped.

  Oh my goodness. I feared you're not kidding; I wish you were.

  I think and feel Yahweh (YHVH/Jehovah) is larger than the life of a single hierarchy.

  Yahweh didn't establish a hierarchy, only a King and a Priesthood, in Israel.

  Jesus didn't establish a hierarchy, only sending out disciples to use their own judgment. I don't mind being counseled about behavior that affects other people; but -- I guess I have a very very bad attitude, when confronted with a hierarchy trying to tell me what to think. It's not going to happen.

  In this generation, anyone who dares to claim they know what is true is subject to ridicule and defamation.

  "Truthers" WHO DO NOT stay in their walled-off Forum enclaves adhering to safe topics are hounded and cut off.

  There is no way to carry on a dialogue or conversation being granted ten posts a day.

  It all becomes a waste of time.

  What keeps you going after your exit from the Watchtower Society?

  i am curious as to what you first did when you left the watchtower society's mind control cult.. did you try to find friends who had gotten out also?

  did you go to school (college/university)?.

  how different was the "world" you now found yourself in compared to living in jw-land?.

  The effect we are having on the Watchtower is HUGE

  i was inspired by a recent thread i know i aint gunna crumble the wt, but a girl can dream to look at the effect we as individuals are having on the watchtower society.. 3dogs1husband quoted a story to show that even helping only one person is worth it.. it is encouraging to note that the one person you may have helped has lead to millions being helped, due to the power of compounding growth.. compounding growth is well illustrated by the rice on a chessboard problem.

  if you start with 1 grain of rice on square one, and double it to 2 on the second, 4 on the third, 8 on the fourth, by the last (64th) square there would be 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 grains of rice.. likewise, if you help one person out of the grip of the watchtower this year, then next year you help one more and they help one, in a few years that is going to have a formidable result on the number of jehovahs witnesses.

  There's no point in kicking a sick horse; this thread is devastating

  WTBTS Leadership is lacking due to excessive timidity among the Brothers in charge.

  And they won't let women-in-the-know speak up at all, just follow along in the readings.

  Lately I'm with Mennonites (and Anglicans), and they're doing better than this; their leading men have balls.

  And they don't virtually silence their women from speaking from the heart.

  For those who believe in the efficacy of prayer, there is plenty to pray in hopes FOR.

  I pray that Jehovah may correct this Governing Body.
