Something cool happened...
by flower ini had the surprise of my life yesterday when i got home from work and played the message on my machine.
it was one of my five brothers.
all of whom i havent spoken to but a handful of times over the years.

flower, I am glad you shared this. I hope all goes well between you and your brother. I know that you don't want to get your hopes up, but at least you are opening your heart and giving that relationship a chance to grow.
It is so sad that your dad, instead of worrying about his health was more interested in bribing him with "you better do a quick about face and save yourself or you are doomed forever, and lets not forget your child is doomed too" GGRRRRRR. It makes me mad that they can only use fear and mind control to keep people in, but that is part of the cult way isn't it.
Let us know how it progresses. I am sure it helped his girlfriend to know a little bit of the religous background so she can relate to what is part of the reason for his troubles.

I once went to a door where I placed the mags with a real nice fellow at the door. As I was walking to the next door I hear a woman screaming from the home where I just placed the mags. I turn around to see that the mans wife had rolled up the magazines and was beating her husband over the head with them. She then proceeds to rip them up and throw then on the front lawn
Wow, then we must interpet that he was being persecuted because you had showed him the truth.
When I was about 5, I was going to talk at the door for the first time. A man came to the door, as I held out the magazines and started to offer them to him, his eyes opened very wide, his arms were flailing, and he kept repeating louder and louder " no, No, NO". He quickly retreated into his house and locked his door.still saying "no, No, NO". (hmmm, wonder if I had a couple of those seven foot angels standing behind me?)

their albino glow is what held them together, and kept them separate from the world.
the albino siamese twins were put in a travelling freak show.

NE1,PLS HELP!!!How can I contact a JW friend who I'm worried about???
by Looking4cookie ina friend of mine has been "groomed" by her father all her life to become a jw.as soon as she was 18,she cut contact with all her non-jw friends.she then got married to a jw(which i believe was arranged for her).she's moved towns without leaving a contact number,and when she is seen by chance,she avoids the situation by walking the other way.i've been threatened by her father,and her husbands threatened to kill me if i ever talk to her again.
(they seem a bit over-protective to me:-)....my friend and i are very concerned about her.......does anyone know if there's anyway of contacting her without alerting her "protectors"??
?any info is welcome as i'm at a dead end......tia.. .

Have you tried finding her thru something like classmates.com? If she is registered (many JW"s do) you may be able to contact her thru them.
