Something I've never told you........

i've really been struggling over the past few months.

when craig and i got married, i didn't invite my dad to my wedding.

six weeks later he takes his life.

When our family went through out losses last year my sister read a book about the grieving process and shared some thoughts with me about it.

Chances are that the grief and frustration you are feeling are more then the loss of your father and his abuse prior to that. The grief you are feeling could be a combination of several losses you haven't dealt with, or have possibly tried to push away in order to protect yourself

DF'ing (causing the loss of family and friends), divorce, prior deaths, are among things that we think we have worked through. The book gave suggestions for dealing with these things. One of them that stood out to her was writing letters, whether you intend to pass them on or not. We can get anything we need to say, or wish we took the time to say (good or bad-let it out!!!) out into the open even if it is only for ourselves.

Tink, you have been through so much, you have survived, and you have been a source of stregnth to others.

on september 8, 1963 my sister, carmen elizabeth was born.. she was, and would remain the only girl in our family.

she was so adorable, brown haired, brown eyed and had a great smile.

she was less than a year younger than i, and we were like the 'best of pals' as kids.. she'd allow me to put beans in her ears, or get her to put peas in her nose or carrots on top of her teeth, and make me laugh.. she was born in cape breton, nova scotia.

hi everyone: after discussing this with the attrorney, we decided to conduct a new poll to assure we are able to contact newer members to the board, continue to validate the analysis being prepared, and to seek leads for new cases.

1. I knew 3 JW molesters, 2 of these JW molesters were in the State of Tennesee, 1 in the State of Michigan.

2. I knew 11 JW victims of JW molesters, 9 of these JW Victims were in the State of Tennessee, 2 were in the State of Michigan

3. I have been in 4 different JW congregations, 3 of these JW congregations were in the State of Tennessee, 1 in the State of Michigan. The 11 victims of molestation in Tennessee were in two JW congregations regularly visited.

i knew i had a bright mind, i had been told that my whole life.

she hated going out in service but since i hated it myself we didn't go do the door to door work much.

i look back now and i can't believe how controlling and un-loving that religion had made me.

(((((((Dave))))))), that (all 5 parts) was quite an experience. It just blows me away that so many of the rank & file will continue to allow the guys at Bethel continue to pull the wool over their eyes and continue to walk the same line because they are afraid to see life in any other way. I wondered through the first four parts why it wasn't shared with your Mom or with Korin, but at the same time I can understand. I would love to share it with my brother (an elder) who is still in. Unless they are in a questioning mode they don't want to face the reality of it. It is hard to give up what little relationship with them that you have. I have already been threatened with not bring up the "apostate propoganda stuff" again.

I know bringing up the painful part of the past in part 5 had to be rough. It seems like living it all over again sometimes. Thank you for sharing that.
