  ...this use of profanity demonstrates precisely the reason why I cannot engage with you or anyone else on this forum. You are breaking your own forum rules when it comes to the passion with which you are pursuing AAWA - even allowing people to say we are breaking the law when there is no evidence of this.

  Only you know the real reasons why you are going for our throats with such enthusiasm, but I personally doubt this is merely a crusade against those who "out" people, accidentally or otherwise. You were slamming us over privacy even before you found out that our official group has ALWAYS been secret, and even now on this very thread you continue to question this fact even though it has been stressed repeatedly that the official AAWA group was always secret.

  In short, this is not a level playing field, so you can't expect us to "play" on it.

  Don't think we haven't noticed your thread, posted under "scandals and cover-ups," which you have written deliberately to rank highly on Google whenever our name is typed in.

  You haven't made as many posts in years as you have made over this past 2 weeks regarding AAWA. Something has clearly hit a nerve. What is curious is that you are leaping on us with such enthusiasm despite my helping you cover over your own privacy issues just over a month ago when I brought it to your attention that you were posting everyone's approximate locations on your prototype website Jehovahs-Witness.com

  If this individual Sic Semper Tyrannis has genuine problems, then please let us investigate them without trying to use this poor man's suffering as currency in what is clearly, for you, a very personal crusade.

  I'm starting to feel like a broken record. Please go back and re-read my posts. Just because others are ignoring the facts of the matter, doesn't mean you have to!

  Our official facebook group is secret and always has been. Nobody can see who our members are but members themselves.

  Our official facebook page is public, and as you mentioned, you can see the faces of those who like it. But it is impossible to "force like" something. If you like it, it's because, well, you like it.

  I won't post on this subject anymore. I've investigated people's concerns and found that no faders are at risk. AAWA, which includes myself, has apologized for any negligence on our part.

  Some people on this thread just want blood. It's disappointing, but there it is.

  Thanks Nomad Soul for verifying that. I now have evidence to satisfy me that no faders are currently in danger of being exposed - which is precisely what I needed.

  So, to re-cap....

  JWN asked for an explanation of what happened, including an apology. Juan Viejo2 wrote a 1,600+ word essay explaining everything to the best of his knowledge, which also included a full apology on behalf of AAWA.

  Then...

  JWN, including its founder, demanded that we deliver the name of the person responsible for setting up the bogus AAWA group and adding people without their knowledge. I provided a statement this morning indicating that we would gladly do that for anyone who was directly and negatively impacted by the incident if they emailed us directly. Juan Viejo2 only received one email, and it was from someone who could provide no evidence whatsoever of any negative impact (he/she just wanted the name).

  Then...

  JWN demanded that we take down our 1,300+ member SECRET group, insinuating that faders are currently at risk.

  We have investigated this claim and discovered both internally and on this forum that it is impossible for non-members to see who members are, regardless of whether they have been added to our group mistakenly or not. This effectively means that no faders on our group are currently at risk.

  I'm sorry to say this folks, but there is nothing more we can do. We have apologized for any negligence on our part, we have taken steps to remedy/limit any damage, and we have established that nobody is currently at risk.

  I think one of the things that is starting to trouble me more about AAWA is that you still think it is okay to force add people.

  But we have already apologized for any who were force added.

  What I am trying to do is find evidence that faders who mistakenly were joined to our group are currently at risk. So far there is none.

  b) This add shows up on their timeline which may or may not be visible to others, depending on their privacy and timeline settings.

  The facebook group doesn't have an ad - only the facebook page does. You can only "join" the facebook page and have it show up on your newsfeed if you "like" it - and no one else can do that for you.

  But what of the added ones?

  What of them? If someone is added, then no non-members can see that they are a member.

  For example, imagine you and your local Service Overseer are both mistakenly added. He sees you are a member - but there is nothing he would realistically do against you judicially because he is also a member, and therefore in the exact same predicament.
