Wow - a HUGE chunk of the $$$ is going into 'administration' cost, almost all of which is labeled 'overseas aid'. I think this should be rightly translated 'sent back home to Crooklyn.'

Sex in 1914
by metatron inas a loyal witness, my dear departed mother sincerely believed in the "worse and worse" mantra.
somehow, despite the history.
of u.s. warfare, slaughter of native americans, dominance of urban gangs and lynching of blacks - the world was somehow better.

The evidence AGAINST evolution
by AlmostAtheist inno, sorry, i won't be providing any.
this is a thread for those that have done some research and concluded that evolution is not how various species came to exist.. have you done the research?
do you believe that species exist as a result of god's direct creation?

No problem! It made no difference to the overall meaning of your post anyway - just one of those random little factoids floating around my skull

For humans, there are 24 such pairs. For chimpanzees, 25 pairs.
Back to Biology 101! Try 23 pair for human, 24 for the great apes (Human: 46 total / Chimp: 48 total) ...

Any non-traditional students here?
by frozen one inthis subject has no doubt been covered before.
when i was in high school i had an urge to go on to college after graduation.
this was back in 1980. needless to say my desire was recieved rather cooly by my parents.

Yes, in my case a 15 year break between HS and going to college. One of the best things I've ever done with my life. My mother was told she'd never grow up in "this system" - and here she now has several grandchildren. More "personal prophecy" unfulfilled!

Do ALL men cheat??
by ChakkaConned ini was watching an old eddie murphy hbo special a few weeks ago where he was talking about relationships.
in his bit, he went off on how all men cheat on their wives and girlfriends.
he was adamant that even the nicest of guys will take the opportunity to cheat if given the chance and that women need to understand that this is the way it is, 100% of the time.

I never thought about it in cost per person through the door before. I guess those prices aren't bad compared to other events, but bang for the buck is much higher at a ball game. Hell, even a political rally is less of a snooze fest then these assemblies. At least at those you can usually get a hot dog and a beer
