Jehovah is not allowing time for everyone on earth to become a JW, just the sheep-like.
Fine, but more 'sheep like' ones are being born everyday, faster then you can preach to them. Or are you going to say that at some point no more 'new' people who are 'sheep like' will be born? Ludicrous. My point stands, if there was a god who really cared, he would either have ended this long ago, or put a 'birth freeze' on the world so that you poor little over worked JWs could get around to seeing everyone.</edit> Uh oh, I think someone's been hitting the crack pipe again!

A Salute to the Kids of Dubdom
by Room 215 inas the unfortunate school-age children of jws worldwide, or at least in christendom, face up to two of what must certainly be the most dreaded days of the school year -- today and monday, i don't think it would be remiss to do pay them tribute -- the honor of a brief recognition of some sort, say by the raising of a glass, a prayer, a couple moments' reflection, whatever.. i refer to all those of the trembling knees, quivering lips, moistened eyes and hollow feelings in the pits of their little tummies as they loyally face up to the humiliation of standing aside from the masses of christmas celebrants among their school friends.
how they must agonize over dealing with the incessant questions of their mates about ``what are you going to do this christmas," ``what did santa bring you?
'' -- not to mention listening to the spirited banter of their school friends recounting how much fun they had and what they found under tree christmas morning, etc.

Paul, that's funny, I had the same things happen to me. I think the poor teachers were just trying to include me in on something so I wouldn't be left out. And to my little child brain it made perfect sense, I mean what's really wrong with coloring a tree (for instance)? Of course, we know the answer is 'nothing' but I usually got reamed for those 'infractions' anyway ...

1984 = 80 years after 1914 = one generation. Of course, that's 'old light' now and we know, we know, the JW never said that. Whatever.
2000 = "A work to be completed before the end of this century" - in reference to the preaching work, meaning the preaching work is over, you JWs just haven't gotton the memo yet.
By the way, if god were so loving, and allowing time for everyone on earth to become a JW, then explain why the worlds population is gorwing so much faster than the JW can preach to it. At the rate you guys are going the work will never be complete, so god should have ended it long ago. This waiting around crap is counter-productive. God's not very effecient I guess. The more babies born into crappy conditions is that many more children that have to suffer for no reason (no reason if there were a god that really cared about them).
