  What Does The Watchtower Society Do With All Their Money???

  we know that the wbts owns a huge amount of real estate.

  they are selling properties in brooklyn and they are immersed in money.

  plus, they are always mentioning how easy it is to pay them cash or with checks or credit cards and even debit!

  An update on my situation

  if you guys remember, a few months ago i made a thread stating that thanks to this board, other websites, and a tiny bit of my own thinking, i had started having serious and substantial doubts on the organisation.

  well, since then, i am no longer an unbaptized publisher after many *shrugs* conversations with elders.

  also, my brother and mum are having doubts- apparently the method is constant attacking of the borg with evidence ( although my mum did have to listen.

  GOD: An Imaginary friend?

  have you ever had that you couldnt sleep at night and that your mind starts racing thoughts?

  i had one of those nights and this is basically the fruit of it.. is god an imaginary friend?

  when children feel very lonely or misunderstood it can happen that a psychological survival system kicks in: the imaginary friend.

  The Organisation - Did they stumble you?

  "a child under training"

  The actual verse Matthew 18:6 does not say child, it is imlpied by Matthew 18:5 which means "in training",

  understood as youth to age 20 (from Stong's Concordance).

  We are all under training, it is true, but "honest hearted" is JW speak.

  I don't have much to say about it. I am posting because I have a box to post in, that has been appearing and disappearing all day. It might be my last chance to say hello, and goodbye.

  That stumbling thing is the problem. You have people doing bad things*, that are not so obviously bad, but they are doing them because they were told to do them.

  *A brother at convention said "soon six billion hearts will stop beating". I think that was two years ago. So who did the stumbling if there was stumbling? The brother who said it, the organization that said to say it or both? And isn't the brother saying it being stumbled?

  What does stumbling mean? What does "little one" mean? I think "little one" means new, not child-like humble. That's my opinion.

  I shall look it up. I have enjoyed your wonderful curiosity Timothy!

  Special day Last talk "No formula"

  this weekend at our special assembly day, let gods will take place the final talk was a head shaker.... the bethel speaker was quite entertaining when he joked @ the shortcomings of the elders.

  he also made us laugh with the comment "we were told the end of the system is right around the corner, but we've found its been more than that, we've been around the blocks a few times.

  " he told the young ones to make the truth their own by researching in the wtbts publication (only).

  WingCommander A funny list, but unfortunately some of them are true. 1 is true, 4 is true, 5 is somewhat true (an exaggeration), 6 is not communicated, but now we know it is true, 7 is just plain mean, but uh, never mind, 8 is true, 9 is true HTG, 10 is true. Watchtower is real? Maybe it's God damn it saying you grasshoppers think you are real? Think again.

  it's been a long time.

  a couple of months, i guess.. i have a dilemma, kinda, and i would take any suggestions or offers.. so, i've been inactive now for a whole year now.. by now, i'm sure word has spread of my inactiveness.

  lil.lady.09 I can't advise you either way. My rule for myself is when in doubt, don't. Do you believe in Jehovah and can you pray? Then do it. There is only one scripture that I can think of that applies (to me) to associating with Jehovah's Witnesses. 2 Timothy 3:5

  What does Godly Devotion lead to? Accurate knowledge. The power of godly devotion manifests itself as understanding. Do you think the friends are looking for understanding, or will they be imitating the Governing Body who is in search of the "bad" fruit, maybe you? If you think the second scenario is true, you "should not" (your worded question) go, do you? If you think most present there will be those leaning on the understanding of the Governing Body, what do you think?
