They want us to start a group. Are you a spy? Now tell us true.
If any group is formed they'll say see! apostates! Told you so. Their such babies.
Like, grow up, why don't you?
forgive me if this comes off as harsh,.
i've read & read many posts here mostly very negative.
alot of you have family that have shunned & continue to shun.

i was born and raised a jw and left the "truth" as soon as i was 18 - but never baptized.
my mother and i have agreed to disagree and have a decent relationship (she is still jw).
whenever i see any people from her congregation they are nice to me and speak to me, and are aware i am not a witness.
I think it might get harder still. Ever hear of the Borg?
It is so very seemingly impossibe, especially when there are children involved,
to reason with the Borg. They don't know how. Like a lobotomy.
All I can say is you must quickly learn to trust in God wholeheartedly,
for the Borg are unmovable (that is what makes them Borg).
Down right scary they are.
Peace! You will need meekness to talk to Borg without blowing your top off.
I hope I am wrong. God go with you.
ok, this hit me today...jw's teach its all about god's sovereignty and vindication of his name, satan challenged his sovereignty in garden of eden, also with job, he made the challenge job only served god because of everything god did good for him.
and to make our choice clear, he asks mankind to ...be wise my son and make my heart rejoice so that i may make a reply to him that is taunting me.... then, the next question is...didn't god basically take a bet????
wagered with mankinds lives??
No. JWs teach the challenge between God and anti-god is like a court room decision. Once settled always settled. Forever. The end becomes the precedent. I think it rings truth. But the Watchtower teaches each one makes a difference in the outcome. That, I believe is not true. Personally, of course it makes a difference, but not in the heavenly "courtroom", it makes no difference to Satan there. It is for the future, not for faith now.
I could be wrong.

She suffered for 20 years among the "dead" and she would be reinstated, to make your mother comfortable? Anybody else? And I wonder (tongue in cheek) disassociation"We reunited last year, she disassociated herself, so her Husband could re-marry in "Jehovahs" eyes." means having sex, or I suppose, admitting publicly to it?
Wecome to the forum!
I might be wrong, but the word dis-associate means the decision belongs to the one leaving. Getting disfellowshipped means being found doing something wrong and they decide. Anyone know?
christian love is what a watchtower member considers their cardinal attribute.
they will quote the apostle paul's definition of love in a heartbeat because they are convicted that they do their best to live up to it.. in the watchtower world the members are instructed to always be setting "spiritual goals.
" their prefered state is one where they are constantly driving towards something spritual.
It's spiritual for one thing, spiritual understanding is hands off for the "faithful", only GB does spiritual (not!).
Then you say "they" but we are they, they are not they. I love questions!
OK. How would they react? It's demonic, obviously, it would shake them up for awile,
until penance is completed, it might give some people a headache.
But I love to search for meaning, so for me, I call it fun.
i was reading an article about how men should not tuck in their shirts if the shirt is worn as casual wear.. i often wear suits with a black tee shirt, tucked in.
i have some great cabana style shirts that are always worn over the belt.
if i'm playing some sport, i would never tuck in a tee shirt.. i looked online after i read the article and it seems some are very firm on their position...... and while we're at it, should men wear a belt with jeans or with dress slacks?.
Tattoos instead of shirts, you ever see it? No skin was harmed in the posting of the post.
so, one of the things that is catching me off guard is that i have forgotten how to pray.. as a jw we were all told to pray, but when we really look at it, the prayers are just as structured and mind numbing as those of the catholic church reciting the rosary.
what caught my attention was stephen at act 7:59 where he calls on jesus (not jehovah) to receive him.
he prayed to jesus.. yet, as a jw, the prayers you always here begin like this: "jehovah god, our loving heavenly father..." and end in "in jesus name, amen".
Bella that is lovely. If you blog or facebook, you might share it that way It is a good expression. Nice!

minimus, we love you, are you having a bad day?
If it isn't meant to be funny, as I gather by the way the tread is going,
come back in a few days and read it again. It's novel worthy.
the jw answer to this is that there must have been some purpose for them that we don't yet understand.. but dinos were pretty violent, basic animals who killed without mercy.
i know not all of them but alot of them did.
the ones that were vegetarian ate huge masses of vegatation, how is that productive to the earth?.
Yes! A good one Matt Slick Thanks Greybeard!
Peace in
did you ever encounter jw's who claimed to be able to "sense" when somthing "dodgy" read demon posscessed was in the room?.
i've got several jw relatives who reckon that jehovah protects them by allowing them to sense this... "i always had a funny feeling about that lump of coral!".
iteams they have thrown out ( and in one case also run over several times with a bicycle just in case there was any residual demons left in it) are :.
hahahahah!
