  when the co is visiting, i think i hear "thank you , jehovah, for this special week of activity" until i want to vomit.. also "jehovah, please remember those sick and afflicted.

  we pray that they can make a recovery and be back with us.".

  Pete Zahut - Your story had me laughing, dude. I am just picturing everybody sitting there like dipshits, with their heads down, wondering "whats going on with Pete", lol. Funny shit.

  Anyway, it really was kind of absurd that everyone would basically say the same thing in each prayer. It was essentially a shuffling around of sentences. This sentence in front of that one, and that one in front of this one, but always the same sentences.

  Yet, these same brothers would condemn "false religion" because THEY would recite the same prayers. Well, what was the difference, none, that's what.

  Funny story, I heard about a brother who when giving the concluding prayer, he blew the whistle on himself. The brother was committing fornication, and in his prayer he said, "and Jehovah please forgive us for our sins, and myself for the fornication I have committed". DOH, talk about putting your foot in your mouth, lol.

  i'm sure we've all heard this argument by theists employing the fine-tuning argument.

  are you aware, however, of exactly how much this "little bit" really is?

  theists would have us think that the slightest change in the distance would have drastic implications for survivability.

  @ Coded Logic - Is that true about the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, Europa, and the other one you mentioned, having vast oceans?

  That is a very interesting fact. I don't believe I heard that before. I had thought they were frozen, but I am probably wrong, lol.

  If you have a link, or anywhere you could direct, that has info on the moons having oceans, specifically, that would be awesome.

  do you remember that my dad passed away last year and i was going back to the witnesses after 26 years?

  i got reinstated after going there for 9 months.

  in the 5 months since then i felt the men in the congregation didn't want me there.

  The ONLY witches here, are THEM, clearly on their witch hunt.

  What fools, bathing in their own ignorance, wallowing in their own self deluded, pride, and arrogance. These foolish men, pride themselves, on using the self proclaimed title of "Shepherds". The truth of the matter is, they are WOLVES.

  A TRUE shepherd, would fight tooth and nail, and with all their power, to keep their sheep safe. If the perils of the world were encroaching upon any in their flock, a TRUE shepherd would never in turn, THROW THEM OUT OF THE PROTECTION OF THE FLOCK, to be eaten.

  Disassociated Lady, these men are fools. I am sorry for any pain they may have caused you, but not to make light of the situation, but they did you a FAVOR. You are "free" from these intolerable men, who think they have some power to judge fellow humans. They fear what they do not understand. They show no love. You admitted that love was shown from someone "worldy", not from these professed "Christians". This truly tells it all, doesn't it.

  "You shall know my people by the love they show amongst themselves". Well it is clear who these people are. Their "fruits" are rotten, their roots are evil. Its time to cut down the tree.

  Ideas to discreetly identify the awoken among us

  ok. i know this has been brought up in the past, but i have often wondered who in our halls are awake (for those of us who attend).

  there are some i would consider a 'maybe', but no way of ever really knowing.. so here is my idea.

  i hope it doesn't sound too masonic,.

  One of my family members is COMPLETELY awake. He knows, and sees that its all complete and utter BS.

  He even has a very close friend in another congregation 20 minute away, who is an ELDER, and is COMPLETELY awake.

  They meet once a week for breakfast, and or other outings, and discuss the current nonsense that is being pushed. His elder friend even gives him "dirt" on what craziness is going down in his congregation. Believe you me, some of it is indeed CRAZY, too.

  My point is, that these are 2 men, one of them even being an Elder, that are in 2 different congregations, that a COMPLETELY awake. They are not kinda on the fence, or half and half, they KNOW whats up. That being said, from outside "perspectives" they are both "IN". so you never know who may be, or not be "awake".

  I don't remember the details of how they both realized each other was "awake". I should find out, and post it here. Maybe it will be an example of a good way to find out if someone else is awake.

  However, what I DO know, is that the one in the picture above who's wearing a suit and tie, is a self deluded, megalomaniac, money hungry, twisted, blood guilty, charlatan, who's days are numbered.

  so what are "144 000 immortal creatures together with jesus going to do".

  Lets think about that statement by Tony Morris, of him one day being able to control the weather.

  What he is saying, in effect, is that when he dies and is shot up to heaven in the blink of an eye, he will then have the power to stop thunder, and control the weather.

  So, based on what HE SAID, we can only assume that the OTHER "anointed" who have already died, are up in heaven, immortal, and with the "powers" that Tony describes.

  Well then, I guess the anointed must HATE Louisiana in America, with all the flooding. They anointed MUST hate the California wilderness with the lightning strikes causing forest fires. The anointed, are causing rivers to surge in Texas, drowning souls, and homes a like. BEWARE the next tornado in middle America, BEWARE the mud slides from rain, in South America, BEWARE the hurricane that hits the Eastern seaboard, BEWARE all the weather patterns around the globe that will kill thousands, this year alone.

  BEWARE it, because according to Tony, his "anointed" brothers up in heaven already, are controlling ALL THAT WEATHER.

  He's a fu#$ing idiot. Self deluded prick, who has no clue whats up. He believes his own bullshit. BEWARE Tony, pride is what befalls ones one destruction. BEWARE Tony, that YOU don't get washed away by your own anointed brothers raining down on YOU.

  Wasn't there something recently in print, or given in a talk, about brothers not having tight pants, and sisters not having short "male" haircuts.

  Another thing, Lett smiles like a 4 year old child, who is still learning how to smile for pictures. They tend to over-exaggerate their smile, just like him.

  I've been rocking a beard/goatee since I left in my very early 20's. I love it, cause I am lazy and hate shaving. I let it go for about 3 or 4 months, then trim it down, rinse repeat.

  Honestly, on the rare occasions when I am with a bunch of JW's, I think a lot of the brothers are jealous I have a beard. These brothers only knew me as being clean shaven from youth until I left, and all they ever say when they see me now is, "you look real good". Lol, I like to think its my beard.

  I remember that bible as well. It was definitely the green one, that had the dinosaurs. In my 4 and 5 year old mind, while sitting thru those boring meetings, I would always stare at the dinos on the inside covers. It was the "coolest" thing in any WBTS, that I remember.

  Now in response to the OP's showing of those calendar pics, I do not remember them. They were probably before my time. One thing I do notice about the baptism picture, it looks like everyone being baptized is an ADULT. I do not see any 12 and 13 year olds getting dunked. Looks like a fully bearded man going under, and one leaving the water. The female entering the water, appears to be very adult as well, lol. Everyone else is observing.

  This is VERY telling of what is really going on with these charlatans. My friends, these are very interesting times. We are clearly observing, in real time, the demise of this organization.

  They are very AFRAID. They are TREMBLING with fear. They are self destructing, because of their own desperation. This is all do to the final culmination of over a hundred years of FALSE PROPHECY.

  If this speech, alone, doesn't show that these men have no direction, and are blowing in any direction the wind is taking them, then I don't know what does.

  These men should be very afraid. Their perceived "power" is shrinking, and they are fully exposed for all to see. They have shown their hand, in this big "game" they have been playing for decades, and it is a WEAK hand, and easily beatable, with logic, critical thinking, and facts.

  The sands of their hourglass are at the bottom now. They are swirling the "drain" at a fever pitch, soon to be "flushed" away for ever.
