If you are the ministerial servent, or elder, who hands out the magazines to all the publishers, from behind the counter, after the meetings. slip in the middle of every magazine a piece of paper that says " Jehovahs-Witnesses.com", or JW-Facts.org, or use your "imagination". -

If you are a microphone "handler", "glue" a piece of chocolate onto the top of the microphone, and hold the microphone REAL CLOSE to whichever dub is answering. Watch the "scrunchted up, disgusting faces", they make. -

Replace the Sunday Watchtower readers magazine, with one in another language, without him knowing it. Then when he goes up to "read" it, he will be like WTF. Thats one of the benefits, of having all the Watchtower mags, in so many languages. I think getting the current magazine, thats to be read, but in Pigeon English, would work the best, lol. -

Jehovah's witnesses are the fastest growing religion.
by hoser inthat is what the speaker said in his public talk this morning.

One thing, i can say for sure, is that the JW's have been saying they have around 8 million members, since i was a little kid. Thats been over 30 years now. It seems like they are having almost NO growth. There is NO way, they are the "fastest growing religion", and the facts prove it. In all the 50 states of America, where the highest percentage of JW's are, JW's NEVER represent more than 2 or 3 %, of a whole states population. In fact in over 90% of the states, JW's represent 1% or, less than 1%, of a states population.
Whats also crazy, is how the numbers for the "anointed" has remained VERY constant, and in some cases GREW. The numbers of the anointed, based on the WTS's own rhetoric, should be decreasing SUBSTANTIALLY, as we move closer and closer towards "armageddon" . Not staying the same, its almost ridiculous, how the R&F dont question that. I call BS, on em.

Oh, and Freddie Franz says, "Thanks an effing bunch!"
by rory-ks inthe faithful and discreet slave are free to look back now and make a mockery of whatever beliefs were previously held by jehovah's witnesses.. they are also free to make types and anti-types of some parts of scripture, and not of others.
they do that thing where they focus on one part so as to distract from the fact that they are doing the exact same thing with another part.. for example, in his talk featuring the new understanding of the "man with the secretary's inkhorn," geoffrey jackson goes on to say:.
we know in recent years we've been careful not to try and make types and anti-types of every aspect of what the bible says.

I had a few "dealings" with Fred Franz himself, when i was very young. My old congregation that i grew up in, was on the south shore of Staten Island, and good old Freddie Franz, had quite a few old time friends from there. Some of the old timers, even dated back to Rutherfords day, and the old WBBR station on Staten Island. I even had a very old brother, who was SOOO SOOO nice, i use to love him, who claimed to have known where Ruthorfords "hidden" gravesite was on the island.
Anyway, due to Fred Franz having quite a few old timer "friends" in my old hall, he would come quite often to give the public talk. As a youngster, i can remember at least, 2 or 3 times when he was invited to give the talk, and i can remember a "gathering" at an old time sisters house, that my family was invited to, and he was there. I was probably, about 8 years old.
I recall him being treated like a "gOD", at the gathering. He was the center of attention, and towards the end of the night, he started telling "stories" to all in attendance. There was a big fire-pit, and he sat there, as everyone sat around him, and hung on is every word. Being that this was 32 years ago, and i was 8 years old, i couldnt tell you what the "storys" were about. Probably some old time Bethel, and Ritherford storys. I remember a few of the youngsters, including myself, climbed a tree to get a better veiw of the "legend" that was Fred Franz.
When he came to give the talk at my old hall, my father was in charge of setting him up on the stage, and getting him on and off, because he was almost blind, at this time. My father always commented, after that, about how Franz had no idea what time it was, and just went on and on, giving the talk, with his "wealth" of information. He had NO notes, at all, again, he was practically blind, and couldnt "see" a clock or watch, so my father had to "go up" on stage when Franz was at the half hour mark. This way Franz could see the "shadow" of my father, and know that he had 15 minutes left. My father said that if he waited to go up, in say an hour or 2, that Franz had so much "knowledge" in his head, he could have just kept going and going, without knowing what time it was.
Its funny, how, in my 8 or 9 year old mind, and for some years after, what my "perception" of Fred Franz was. I thought of him as "awe inspiring", and as the most knowledgable human in the world. I will say this, he had a simple old 1970's something, bomb of a car, and a cheap suit. My father would always make a point of saying, "look how humble he is, and yet he knows more than all the religious leaders of the world", as he drives his 4 door car back to Bethel. In a way, my Dad WAS kinda right. He was the President of the Borg, and had NO driver, NO "posse", NO "hoopla".
That being said, my "impression", and thought on Fred Franz, have certainly changed much, now. I have now learned, that he was a bully, and a hard ass. He was trying to make a "name" for himself, like Russel, Rutherford. He had a "personal agenda" of trying to be "prophetic" like the men before him. They had their 1914's, and there 1925's, and Franz had his 1975, which as we know, failed MISERABLY. I knew him briefly, in passing when i was as an 8 year old boy, and it was at the "end" of his "career/life". He was a feeble old man, at this point, but when he was in his "heyday", he was a militant, abusive, hard ass. In fact, if you disagreed with any "changes" in policy, or scripture, you were "hunted" down, and branded "apostate" with a final Disfellowshipping. That was Franz's legacy. The bully, witch hunting, paranoid, hard ass, left over from an old regime. Yet, dare i say it, he still represented something, even slightly. better than todays current GB psychos.

True friendships foundation is based on "ratting" each other out. Doesnt everyone know this? I mean, all true friendships, come "full circle", once you rat on your friend to the Elders, ESPECIALLY because YOU werent invited to that drinking party. That should be ME in those pictures on Facebook, DAMMIT.
I know what to do, i will tell on her to the Elders, then once there is another drinking party, you better beleive she will invite me. See, look at picture 5, it all worked out. We are sitting next to each other, today at the meeting, cause tonight we will be "drinking it up". Thanks Watchtower, you always know whats "best".
Thats why the "strong" sister is wearing green, she is green with envy. While the "weak" sister is in pink, she is tickled pink to be drinking.

@ - Lieu - I am in no way saying, i dont beleive you, but just hoping if you have any "proof" of this. Such as documentation, or written records, showing that the WTS does, indeed, function this way, and if that would prove the OP's mentioning of what those older JWW's said.
Man, having "proof" of this, would probably be the single most damning evidence, to wake up, even more people, about, who, or what, they think they are worshipping.

@ - Junkyarddog - Dude, you do realise that you "own" this guy now, lol. Depending on how "IN" he is with the JW's, he has a lot to loose, if you were to "expose" his little SCAMMING/STEALING from his employer thing, and, of course, if you were to be the "little birdy" that told your boss, about the stealing.
Either way, on the JW front, and the work front, you GOT HIM. Also, dont let his bullshit, of "pretending" he doesnt understand/speak English, hold any water. Be like, "dude, que paso, we been talking for over a year, and you ALWAYS understood me, dont play this NOW, because that would be LYING". Thats right, tell him that is LYING, it will just give you another thing to have on him, and make HIM know that you aint stupid, and YOU know what real "spirituallity" is.
Good luck, and have fun, you can have a BALL with this one, lol.

Caleb and Sofia used to brainwash children
by shattered_origins inokay, i need to vent.
as a newly awoken individual, i have yet to "come out" to my hard core jdub parents.
my plan was to lay low and use my unbelieving husband and baby as an excuse for my "inactivity", it has worked for the last few months.

@ - Shattered origins - OR anyone else - I never saw any of the Caleb and Sophia videos, so i have no idea, what they are about, although i can only imagine. What, specifically, did you find was so brainwashing about them? Did anything strike you as really "out there". What are the "themes" of these videos? Do they actually scare kids about armaghedon and stuff like that, and or d they scare kids into thinking the are going to make "jehovah" unhappy. That kind of stuff would be really SICK, if they did that.
Without having to make myself sick to my stomach, by seeing these videos myself, i appreciate whatever anybody could "fill me in", about them, thanks.
