Infiltrated Elders?
by john.prestor inso i'm watching john cedars commentary on the annual meeting from this last october, and at one point he shows a clip of garrett loesch talking about the struggles jehovah's witnesses faced decades before in the soviet union.
he claimed that police officers, maybe the kgb, infiltrated congregations which met in secret by studying with jehovah's witnesses, getting baptized, and then working their way up to becoming elders.
ceders jokes that this shows what kind of role holy spirit actually plays within body of elders, but another interpretation came to my mind just now.

I like a woman with a nice round, spherical bottom. If her chest is flat, or on the flatter side, it doesnt matter all that much to me. I guess you could say i am in both "camps" on this one.
I like it flat in some respects, and round in others. Its all perspective and location, really.
Oh wait, am i misunderstanding this thread a little. Sorry, this whole flat and round thing put me in a different mindset, my bad.

BS stories in the publications
by Billzfan23 inthis is an example of a story that just strikes me as funny from their publications:.
"wilson, a christian from ghana, was notified that in a few days, he would be fired from his job.
on his final day at work, he was assigned to wash the private car of the managing director of the company.

Isnt it weird that the story says, "Wilson, a Christian from Ghana"???
Why doesnt it say, "Wilson, a Jehovahs Witness from Ghana", or "Wilson, a fellow Brother from Ghana". Its almost like they "borrowed" the story from somewhere else, idk.
I also agree, that "finding" someone elses money, in their own car, and with a "supervisor" knowing as well, and then "giving" it back to them, is not the pinnacle of honesty, lol. Someone knew he found it, and if his boss went to get his own money, from his own car, and it wasnt there, guess what, Wilson took it, duh.
Wait, maybe this was the Wilson from the Tom Hanks, Castaway movie, and we are talking about a volleyball.

by minimus inone of my best friends is in the security business.

I wonder how the authorities, lawyers, advocates for victims of abuse, politicians, and the many who are aware of the WTBS horrible policies concerning child abuse, will react when they hear that the BORG is looking to now, institutionally place 24 hour cameras inside their Kingdom Halls.
Last i looked, bastions of child abuse, will not be looked upon favorably, especially when they decide to monitor, via video camera, all its members, including men, woman, elderly, and UNDER AGED CHILDREN.
This will be great for the WTBS squeaky clean PR campaigns, dumbasses.

Saturday morning field service, in particular, was horrible. My young brain, knew i was missing Scooby Doo, and Looney Tunes cartoons, for waking up early and knocking on doors of people who HATED that we were there.
It was a mind f@#k for my 5 to 12 year old brain. What child on Earth would REALLY like to go out in service, instead of sleeping in, watching cartoons, playing, or just plain old relaxing from a weeks worth of school.
The abuse from the WTBS was further perpetrated by the fact that if you didnt like, or want to go out in service, you were labelled as "bad", or not a spiritually strong youth. What young, to pre-teen child, would ever LIKE field service?? No normal child would.
Service is nerve racking, difficult, frightening, and tough, for the average ADULT. Think about what unneccessary stress it causes children. Sad, and just another abuse from the WTBS.

I lived thru hurricane Sandy, here in New Jersey. The ocean is 3 blocks from my home, and there is a fresh water lake, literally across the street from my home. During Sandy the ocean met the lake, and my home, along with about 8 other homes, were surrounded on all sides by water.
We were literally trapped for a few days, until the water subsided. I was lucky, as my home did NOT flood, but ALL the homes behind me, on both ends of my block, and across from me, flooded. I was an island unto myself.
No power for 3 to 4 weeks. No gas, no heat, nothing. Many homes collapsed, flooded, and when completely destroyed around me.
Since then, i have bug out bags for my whole family. I have fresh water stocks, food storage, guns, ammo, generators, everything. I am prepared now. I have enough food, water, guns, ammo, supplies, you name it, for YEARS.
I even have go bags, and supplies and food, for my 4 cats, lol. No joke, ready to rock n roll. Got gas masks, antibiotics, gold, and silver for barter, gasoline storage, radiation detectors, NBC suits, nerve gas antidote, shotguns, rifles, pistols, ammo, water filters, hand tools, tents, bug out vehicle/van, everything. Bring on the zombies.
Its not a bad thing to be prepared. Your wife having a "go bag" is NOT a bad thing. Her relying on the BORG to get her thru the first day, IS A VERY BAD THING. If they are ramping up the tribulation/armageddon crap, then they should be giving REAL advice, and REAL solutions. It sounds like they are NOT, and its a bunch of BS.
Ask her, if they really are stressing "being prepared", why are they doing that. What is the reason? What are their solutions? If they REALLY feel something is coming, but yet on the other hand, are being vague, and nonchalant about it, is that really right?
They cant have it both ways. They cant emphasize that the big A is imminent, but offer no solutions, thats a problem. Maybe it will make her think a little. Either way, being prepared aint a bad thing.

Why would an all powerful, and loving God, allow a highly intelligent, superior species of intelligent life, that was around for millions of years already, to literally disguise itself, and tempt/molest his newest creation, humans?
In the big scheme of life, Eve and Adam were literally "new borns", especially when compared to an angelic, high powered creature of light, that Satan was. Satan had millions of years of experience, knowledge, life, and was literally a more advanced species and life form.
Humans, were the new, little babies, just created. No life experience, no knowledge, other than their little garden of eden, no millions of years of life to ponder the meanings, and live with their Father. They didnt even have children of their own yet. They were infants, or at the most pre-teens.
Yet God allowed some predatory, highly advanced, shape shifting, evil, lying, deceitful being to attempt to harm his newly formed, innocent, naive Adam and Eve.
What parent, and loving Father would do that? If you were a parent, would you allow some evil genius, super powered alien, with super natural powers, and evil intention, play with your newborn baby?
If we believe the Garden of Eden story, then we must believe that is what God did, in theory. Where is the "loving Father" in that story?

Watson. Here is one of my experiences
by moley ina little backstory.
please comment, is the just childish imagination or something unexplainable.. when i was nine we lived in modbury, it’s a small town, in devon the southwest of britain.
we lived in a very hold house, several hundred years old and down the way was 2 battle sites of the english civil war (one a minor battle won by the royalist and a larger battle won by the parliamentarians which ultimately lifted the siege of plymouth).

Not really, that Wiki states that the ORIGINS, not the act of saluting, is the raising of the visor, which is exactly what i mentioned, but it does not state that any soldiers in the English civil war used the salute.
In fact ALL the examples given in the Wiki of history of soldiers using it, are of a much later time. The earliest example used is 1745, much later than the English Civil war.

I hate to put a "hole" in your story, my friend Moley, but i must indeed question the validity of your "vision".
Now, i believe you believe you saw this soldier, and it was and still is vivid in your MIND. With that being said, i can PROVE that it was NOT a ghost of a soldier in the English civil war.
One simple statement that you mentioned, disproves the validity of the person being a true ghost of an English soldier in your whole story. You see, saluting was NOT a practice of soldiers during the English Civil war. That practice did not start until the colonial era of wartime. It was adopted by that era of soldiers, especially during the American revolution, to mimic the old knights who would have to "raise" their visor on their metal helmets, in order to look into each others eyes.
This action of putting the hand to the forehead and saluting was adopted in the 1700s, as a throw back to chivalry on the battle field, and was purely symbolic as no colonial soldiers wore knights helmets.
During the English civil war, the action of saluting, as you say the "ghost" you saw did right before he "disappeared", was not, or ever done, by any soldier involved on both sides of the English civil war.
We must only conclude that this was a ghost of a colonial soldier, pretending to be a soldier of the English civil war, OR a figment of your 9 year old imagination. Or perhaps this ghost had quite a sense of humor, and we are all the butt of his joke. . . .
And to that, i must salute him . . . .

Jehovah had a wife the ancient Israelites also worshiped Asherah
by Finkelstein inrecent archeological discoveries have found that the ancient israelites were not exactly monotheistic to yahweh, apparently the israelites also worshiped a god which was seen as yahweh's wife asherah.
small carved sculptures have been found in places of worship and homesteads to support these findings.asherah's connection to yahweh, according to francesca stavrakopoulou, is spelled out in the bible and an 8th-century b.c.
inscription on pottery found in the sinai desert at a site called kuntillet ajrud.

See, it all makes sense now. Good ole Jah had a wife too. No wonder he needed to rest on that seventh day, Asherah had him doing chores NON STOP for 6 days straight.
"Build me a bigger universe, this one isnt big enough". "We need more light in here Jehovah, MAKE ME A BIGGER SUN". "Baals wife has her own serving Seraph nanny to take care of the Cherubs, why cant i have that"!!!
Poor guy just wanted to chill, and have a few beers on the seventh day. No wonder he was pissed off all the time, causing great floods, and making Fathers almost sacrifice their sons. He had a nagging wife at home!!!!
You dont make a bunch of humans sacrifice thousands of heads of sheep and cattle, cause you are living a nice chill bachelor life. Nope, he was fighting with the old lady Asherah that day.
It ALL makes sense now.
