just be careful of sharing your thinking with any of your jw mates who seem pretty fringe and laid back, cos a lot of them play both sides but if they get caught and push comes to shove would be you under the bus.

Something I Never Understood About Disfellowshipped Ones

(after all, they could talk to each other).
but many would "treat" other disfellowshipped just like the witnesses would.

yup but you get used to it. life goes on, you age , you change with life experiences, you have kids, your perpectives and priorities change.
and then when you get them back its a bit of an anticlimax cos those nostalgic memories you have dont really resemble the reality. your mind unrealistically expects everything the way it was back in the past before the implosion but neither of you have stood still for 10 years.
we put the shunning crap down to experience and we mended best we could. but he was never my dad again and i doubt i was ever his daughter.

booby, i always had more respect for my dad cutting me dead cos at least he didnt play the jw pick and drop as and when it suited thing, which i found far more toxic in the long run.

my dad cut me totally dead when i was dfd, it was a good five years or more after he was dfd before he spoke to me, and that was only cos my grandad dropped dead, and my mother was on holiday somewhere with his sister and i was trying to track them down.

What Do You Do For Exercise?
by minimus inin the summer i play outdoor tennis nearly everyday for about an hour and a half.
i'm going to resume racquetball in the winter which is great for cardio!.
what's your exercise pattern like?.
