Several years ago, I put together a compilation of various types of correspondence between me and the Watchtower Society, that occurred over the 30 years I was a JW. Some was just administrative stuff, like pioneer appointments and letters. But there were also several letters that I wrote regarding doctrinal issues, including some sensitive ones. The Watchtower's response to some of these was pretty telling, I think. It's been a few years since I made any of this material available in any format, so here it is for your enjoyment.

Are You Doomed?
by NeonMadman inback in 1969, we were studying the book babylon the great has fallen - god's kingdom rules!
in the book study.
at one point, it commented regarding the "hailstones" that would fall, as described in the book of revelation, that these "hailstones" referred to the hard messages of judgment that we jws would be proclaiming to people after the great tribulation had begun, when there was no further hope of salvation for those who were not already jws.

For the record, I was 17 in 1969 when I wrote the document. I was living at home, working at a gas station, had been recently baptized and was vacation pioneering for the first time. Getting injured blew my hours pretty badly.
We had been fooling around in our usual service group speculating about what form the "judgment messages" might take. This document was just a response to that, made for fun, and not really intended for circulation. The only people I think I ever showed it to were people in my car group and a few personal friends. I found it recently going through some old JW stuff, and thought it might be of interest.

Back in 1969, we were studying the book Babylon the Great Has Fallen - God's Kingdom Rules! in the Book Study. This idea became a topic of much discussion in the car groups I generally worked in field service with, and we speculated on what literature the Society might publish at that time. We decided that there would probably be a pamphlet of some sort to inform people of God's judgment against them, and that we would have to distribute it to the hopelessly lost people outside the organization.
As fortuity would have it (couldn't say luck), I had enrolled as a vacation pioneer for the month of September, 1969, and halfway through the month, I severely sprained my ankle at work, laying me up for three weeks and preventing me from completing my pioneer hours. In the boredom associated with being laid up, however, I decided to have some fun by creating my own version of the literature that the WTS might print once the Tribulation started rocking. I'm offering the result here for your possible enjoyment.

1974 Special Meetings
by NeonMadman inas we all know, armageddon was just around the corner in 1974. at the district conventions that year, it was announced that there would be two special meetings during the month of september; one would be for interested people (e.g., bible studies, family members, inactive, etc.
), and the other would be for baptized publishers.
these were to be held in place of the service meetings for the two weeks, iirc.

These were to be held in place of the Service Meetings for the two weeks, IIRC. In the September KM, there were two letters provided that would be handed out to the attenders at each meeting. This provision was intended to seal in our minds the closeness of Armageddon. It was hoped that people who had been hanging onto the org without making a commitment would now 'get off the pot,' as it were, and that those already in the org would work ever harder trying to get people saved before Armageddon hit, any minute now. Anyway, I was digging through some old JW stuff a few days ago and found copies of the letters. Thought you folks might enjoy reading them.

Personally, I prefer the English Standard Version, but the NASB and NIV have their place. -

Do you ever wonder if the society changes the older issues of the WT to say what they want it to say on those DVDs? Like the 2012 version might say something different than the 2015 version in the 1975 WT?
It certainly seems like the sort of thing they might do, but the only case I'm aware of is the one shown by previous posters in this thread from the 1989 WT, where "in our 20th century" was changed to "in our day." In that case, the text was changed in the printed bound volume from what appeared in the original magazine, and the bound volumes are what are supposedly collected onto the CD-ROM (indeed, there were no Watchtower CD-ROMs in 1989 when that change was made). I'd be very interested if anyone could cite examples of any other such changes between the original printed magazines (or other publications), the bound volumes and the WTLib CD.

Encounter with J.W's at wittnessing kart.
by karter inme-you allow pedophiles to go d2d and into peoples houses even when they have children.. j.w-no we don't.. me-the one that interfered with a relative of mine does and another i know who raped his sister does in fact he's an elder.. j.w-we cant stop them going d2d.. me- so now your saying they do go d2d you can't stop them,no you don't want to!.
j.w-it happens in all religions.. me- so that justifies sending pedo's into strangers houses.how would you like it if a pedo came to your place and you didn't know.. j.w- it happened to my mother and if he came to my place it knock him out.. me - but you have no problem with anyone from your church going to peoples houses even if they are a pedo.. we argued around in circles with him saying the elders may not know and me saying well i told them and so did the victim and he admitted to it ,then i told him about the r.c in australia and he said that could be anyone claiming to be a j.w could be on the stand ( by this time he was getting desperate)the i said like jeffery jackson?.
i told them to look it up on you tube.. i gave then the names and congro's the 2 pedo's are in and said i'd come back next week and see if they had checked it out.the lady's body language said she knew the elder that raped his sister as they are a well know family they were in the year book a few years ago.. stand by for next week.. karter.

"That happens in all religions."
"So you're admitting that your religion isn't any better than all the others then?"

There is a nativity scene on pages 8 and 9 of the book from the 2015 conventions, called Jesus - The Way, the Truth, the Life (which seems to be a replacement for the Greatest Man book). It's available at jw.org under Publications-->Featured Items, then scroll down to "Convention Releases." I only have a pdf copy and the picture is split between the two pages, so I'm not in a position to post a scan; maybe someone more adept with graphics can do so.
Here's a direct link to the Convention Release section: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/jw-convention-releases-2015/
