  Biometrics:

  A slight variation of the situation you describe was the beginning of the end for me. I was out in service with Dad and came to a door that was answered by one of my classmates. He was cool; he didn't tell anyone about it. But that day, I decided that I would never go out in service again. I never did, and shortly after I stopped going out in service, I stopped attending meetings as well.

  I exited the WTBTS prison when I was in my early teens, because I hated it so much that I no longer feared the inevitable beatings that I expected for leaving. It came to the point where I'd rather be beaten daliy than go to a meeting or out in service.

  Sparlock and memories of childhood

  when i was about 6/7 there was a talk that made reference to the violence of teenage mutant ninja turtles.

  when we got home, all my tmnj figures were packed up into a plastic bag and put away in the loft.

  at least they weren't thrown in a wheelie bin.. when i was about 13 there was a local needs (yes, a whole talk) on the evils of pokemon, complete with the statement that pokemon was short for pocket demons (not true) no more pokemon blue for me.. i remember explaining to my pe (gym) teacher, in front of my whole class, that i could not play for the football (soccer!

  The WTBTS stole my childhood from me, ruined my family and its relationships with extended family, and inflicted severe emotional damage upon my siblings and me.

  I watched the Sparlock video and wanted to vomit. Those responsible for its creation deserve spit in their face.

  I can totaly relate, Miss Fitt.

  For me, the Watchtower made me a very angry young teenager/man that facilitated some pretty wild and dangerous situations. Some of that anger remains; I've never been able to completely rid myself of it, despite making a real effort to do so, including many dollars spent on counseling. I wish I could completely rid myself of that anger, but I realize that I probably never will eliminate it entirely. While I have used the anger for positive things, such as achieving academic and professional success, it's not a positive thing, and at times, it can be very depressing.

  I have forgiven my parents for their poor judgment, but I have a warning for other parents who think it's ok to raise your children in accordance with the teachings of the WTBTS. Think carefully before subjecting your children to this extremely damaging lifestyle. You may lose your children forever because of your poor judgment. I personally have no respect for JWs who subject their children to this lifestyle. You are abusing your kids if you are raising them as Jehovah's Witnesses. Ignorance is no excuse.

  It's nice that my parents, and many other JW parents got to live normal lives as children, and sad that they didn't/don't allow their own kids to have normal childhoods.

  The Florida jury spoke, but idiots in Los Angeles and Oakland are engaging in civil unrest.

  They will use anything as an excuse to riot. The Lakers didn't win this year, but George Zimmerman did, so let's go smash some windows, loot some stores, and assault the vulnerable. Yay!

  on wednesday the 10th, i went to bally's casino for tryouts/auditions for who wants to be a millionaire.

  i passed the written test!

  then i had to fill out a questionnaire in which i had to try to sound like an interesting person.

  The misrepresentation is that I expressed an opinion on the subject matter, which I never did. I clearly, and unequivocally expressed my belief that none of us here have basis to answer the question. I gave insight into my personal opinion at this time as to his guilt or innocence (but not my option of what I would do as a juror. There is a distinction, despite your effort to obfuscate it), but also noted that I haven't seen all of the evidence and therefore, like everyone else here, I am unqualified to express an opinion as to how I would vote as a juror on this case.

  I think that your effort to misrepresent the clear and unequivocal language of my post is no mistake, which is why I do not wish to discuss any matters with you in the future. I do not care to debate with those who choose dishonest tactics in a "win at all costs" mentality. I'm not impressed.
