I know this post is 14 years old, but I'm bumping it for newbies like me. My spouse is so sure that these prophecies are now happening thanks to the latest convention. Thanks Leolaia!

That was amazing, thank you for sharing! Gave me chills.
But can anyone please elaborate on what he meant by CTR's biography being a lie? I have not heard of this in my research?

what as your first jolt that started your wake up process?
by yourmomma inyou know when you are in a deep sleep and something happens that may put you on a different level of sleeping, not as deep.
anyway, then i thought, 90 minutes for lunch?
so, there is a group waiting to cross the street.

Watching a member of the GB lie and mislead the audience with his answers at the ARC. I think he has and will continue to help many start to wake up.

So what would "Perfect Life" REALLY be like?
by stuckinarut2 ini wonder sometimes just how jws try and comprehend what perfect life would really be like if "adam and eve" had not sinned?.
how would we live?
what would the realities be like?

Imagine my dismay when it was explained to me that the term meant spiritual "perfection".
Wait, what? You mean I wont be a supermodel in Paradise that can breathe underwater, ride sharks and possibly fly??

What is the most troubling or disturbing biblical passage you ever had to rationalise when a Jw?
by stuckinarut2 innow that we have stepped away from the jw faith, how do you feel about the bible itself?.
what about those awkward sections of scripture?
how did you rationalise or justify those sections?.

@pleasereasearch - Ezekiel chapter 23. The entire chapter is disgusting. 20 There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses
Who talks like that?? Definitely written by dirty minded perverts.

The urban legends we heard as JWs!
by stuckinarut2 inhow often have we heard some sort of sensationalist urban legend as jws?.
here is an example i was told as a kid:.
the experience of a sister who knocked on a door and was greeted by a big fierce looking man- intimidating and mean.

@punk-wow so that one went across the pond.
oh heres another--an elderly sister was preaching door to door when vicious dogs were about to attack her but she miraculously jumped over a 6 foot tall fence. (cane and all).

Book of Revelation
by Whynot inone of the things that really bothered me is how most of the book of revelation isn't understood by most jws.
most of the trumpets were already sounded many decades ago, is that still right?
it seems like most jws just look the other way.

I was just thinking about this book yesterday.
My spouse is adamant that new scrolls will be open in 'the new system' because of the content in Revelation. He is PIMI. I am POMO.
Whoever wrote this book was definitely high on something. And 'evidently' it was almost not canonized.
