  the group i meet-up with ... don't go inside, we never pray, we, erm, we just hang out in the car-park.. you're thinking "wtf?

  Waton- I remember giving the WT talk on the atonement day, festival of tabernacles, huts and the goat for Azazel chased into the wilderness, wt tied the whole thing to Jesus sacrifice

  Was this a long time ago? I dont remember hearing any talks mentioning specific demons names growing up as a JW in the 90's? Unless I just wasn't paying attention..

  we you still in the borg when you realized the new testament is about god and the jews and god and the church and basically this whole transfer process from jewish law to this becoming the new person in christ.

  its rather weird i once believed in heavenly hopers and earthly hopers and faithful slave classes etc etc.

  I actually just made that realization 2 days ago-after 25+ years of being a JW (born in). The 'real' Jews must get a kick out of that? Its all so ridiculous now that I think about it.

  i guess you can be physically out, like in a huge way, but definitely mentally in.. serena williams claims she won't be celebrating her daughter's first birthday.. i did know people like that, raised as a jw but never actually baptizing.

  that didn't mean they were not messed up in the head though..

  I dont think she was ever baptized or knows what its like to grow up in a "real' JW household. I have a feeling famous JW's like her & Coco Rocha give the Borg large donations so they just look the other way. Or maybe not, either way they are giving publicity to JW's and that may be a good thing.

  1969 Awake on Education - A Sore Spot for Me

  my father would have started college 49 years ago this week.

  about three months earlier, the week he graduated high school, the awake!

  magazine came out with some very clear direction to teenagers.

  Thank you for sharing. Im a born in ex jw that grew up in the late 80's, early 90's and never heard of 1975 fiasco until I researched Jw history & learned TTATT 1.5 years ago.
