Very interesting observations. I also note that the ones who seem to be "zealous" are usually in pursuit of or trying to hold on to priveledges. Their zeal does not appear to be real. Its all about the status of being used in some compacity. If you are a brother you want to appear to be "zealous" and theocratic because you want to be a ministerial servant or elder. If you are a married couple you want to appear to be " zealous " so you can be used at the circuit assemblies or even asked to serve in the circuit work.

Take away the privledges and how many would keep up the appearance?

I got suckered into being an attendant at the Met life stadium. What a complete disaster. We had elderly people sitting on the floor. Some where so fustrated they said " forget this" and they went home vowing not to come back.

In my area the general sense is bleak. Many are in survival mode. Even at the convention the appearance of the majority was unhappy and tired. Even with all this "special activity" there is no excitement or enthusiasm. My friends in neighboring halls complain that the lack of love is so overwhelming. I know many here believe this organization is here to stay but from what I see and hear its just one scandal away from a massive decline.

What about your area?

the level of disapointment

as i look at the members in my area, i see alot of fustration and disapointment.

those who still beleive 100%, are sending there kids off to college( to live on campus),there is no rush to send there kids off to bethel and others are just going through the motions just so they wont be questioned.

in the last 7 years i've been in 2 congregations, in 2 different states, and the level of tension and in fighting in both, has made the isreali/ palistani conflict look mild.

This beleif has to be revisited and revised if they want anyone with a thinking mind to.take them seriously. Or maybe that's it they don't want anyone that thinks. Got it.

It is understandable that this question might arise, for as things stand now many animals do kill one another for food. But please note that this is as things stand now. Is there anyone on the earth who can say from personal observation how these animals acted six thousand years ago?

Another thing, is one justified in concluding that the way an animal uses its body today is the only possible way?As an example, a tiger uses its fangs and claws to catch, kill and tear apart other animals. Yet, could not these same fangs and claws be used in tearing apart heavy vegetation and ripping off husks and shells? wt69 9/1

So tigers eat seafood? What type of vegetation needs such teeth?
