Welcome , Initially my experience here was basically the same as yours mostly negative ( alot of cruel remarks about spelling mistake in posts you know petty stuff..really buged me) , but my advice would be to stick around for a while then you will find just as I have that there are a lot of really cool people here . The trouble makes seem to assert themselves sometimes , so give the whole board a chance , they will surprise and amaze you ! ( sounds like a magic act )

They pulled me back when i was about fifteen , they were trying to cope with an upcropping of sideburns in the cong . they asked if i would shorten them , because the YOUTH need good grooming to have responsibilities in the cong. .....that was when i was a pioneer ...was that really me ?.....I basicly told them to take a flying one . it was the end of my privileges and they didnt let (make) me give talks for about six months. I think it was the start of somthin good fer me ! I wish i could tell em to bite it in a more discriptive way now.

since the beginning of the time, till the 19th century and more, most of stories and songs for kids, was made to scary them with a moral at the end.
to me, the bible is one of kind of that type of book (for children we are inside).

Hello great post ! Welcome . to me the bible really doesnt make a lot of sense when taken on a whole . too many weird storys , too many Inconsistent themes , characters and the most inconsistent almighty god. The thing that really made me reconsider a belief based on the bible , was the passage where she bears tore children to shreds for disrespecting and old mans grey hair ( it doesn’t matter to me who he was in this context) really sick man , such a loving god doing away with children in such a way. But that is just one of my many issues with the book.

Hey look for all you out there who think of me as a pig or the like listen up ! I have tried everything I can think of , everything any of my close friends could tell me to try . I have had a very open dialog with her for some time about the situation, I have read books , shared books , tapes and videos , I am not a smelly pig I shower at least twice a day I tend to be a bit of a germ phobe , I have taken her feelings into consideration for over seven years damn it , and all for not.
She knows we have a problem and she would rather ignore it , this is not my fault , this is my problem though . Just to be very clear ...... I have been a very warm and understanding husband up until now . Thing are about to change ....I have excepted this and I am ready for change.....

Hi DM ,your situation sounds very familiar to my situation , how many times can you enjoy yourself sexually when you get that type of reaction , I have done the same thing as far as waiting until she initiates things and it has been quite some time . I have two kids as well and I really hate to think of the path im traveling on , but as you said a celibacy has no place in marriage . It is quite maddening . I wish you luck and happiness with your choices in your situation . oh by the way
