Did they use to applaud after reinstatement after being Disfellowshipped, but then it stopped?
by ThomasCovenant ini don't remember disfellowshippings happening very often and announcements about being re instated but i think i remember that we used to clap hands if someone came back after being disfellowshipped.
but then i think clapping wasn't allowed.
am i correct in my recollections?.

Craziest thing you ever saw in a KH?
by dubstepped ini did this in my facebook group for my podcast and it was fun.. so what's the craziest thing you ever saw?.
for me it was watching a brother have a heart attack during the meeting in the auditorium.
i was a kid and noticed him shaking and acting strange.

I remember in the 60's the district overseer always gave the keynote talk at the district conventions..
in those days the sound radiated from the stage by ginormous Horn speakers and the sound traveled over the heads of the first twenty or so rows usually reserved for the elderly and got them after it bounced off the back wall the reverberations played heavily on the attention span.
Well those twenty or so rows soon ended up in the land of nod and after his talk the DO marched up to the sound department that happened to be at stage right and gave the sound department overseer a piece of his mind.
The sound department overseer promptly replied to him "well lets see if you can do any better" and went to his mighty 1KW sound system and pulled out the mains cord and input cords and promptly wheeled his amplifier out of the venue into his bus and went home.
I also remember when one of the bro,s had his ghetto blaster at a circuit assembly and he had his headphones on during the afternoon session one of his mates leaned over and pulled out his headphone plug and everyone enjoyed the rugby match being broadcasted.

Watchtower August 2020 Are they introducing new light?
by Listener inthe latest watchtower is now out and they make this statement -.
7 during the thousand year rule of christ, all of jehovah’s earthly children will have to make changes to please him.
so all of them will have true fellow feeling as they help the resurrected ones to combat sinful tendencies and to live by jehovah’s standards.

I live in a land where Volcanic activities have far reaching effects and can leave you stranded for months in the area that you may live in.
I have always had at least two months food available 1000 Liters of water 100 liters of Petrol 30 KG LPG It has done us good the last two months with minimal need to leave our home.
Lock down in our country has had a good effective way of reducing the problems of covid-19
