  How many use iPads or tablets in your cong?

  a question for those that still attend meetings.... how many use tablets or ipads in your hall?.

  i did roving microphones this week, and i counted 43 people (variety of ages) out of an audience of 98!.

  I don't get the iPad thing at the meetings. How do they prevent people from surfing the internet, reading emails, checking sports scores, and the million other things to distract that forms the basis of the Internet?

  Do they have monitors to make sure everyone is focusing on the material? I used to be criticized for reading scriptures that were not addressed by the speaker. That was nothing compared to the bag of candy that is readily available now. I cannot imagine how distracting (and wonderful) an iPad is at a meeting.

  The free market enterprise system is wonderful. I hope that Simon makes money or at least covers his cost - because this justifies his presence in this environment. If others are able to make money god bless them all. The internet is presented as a cost free source of entertainment but that is just not true. There is a cost and hopefully a corresponding source of funding to cover this cost.

  These are all babies that will be the first to be resurrected. The fact that they die before rejecting the Watchtower justifies their resurrection. So in JW speak this is a good thing. But, who will raise them given that their evil parents will all die at Armageddon?
