When you say generation do you mean an overlapping generation? Each boring person has connected with someone from a prior boring generation.
Is this even more proof that we are near the end of the wicked old system?
i think they are the most boring people on earth.
they are about as exciting as a dead ant..

The watchtower squeezes out anything interesting out of its followers. What is left are drones who have a single purpose - "Advertise, Adevertise, Advertise the King and its Kingdom." Actually, not really, the purpose is to get enough hours on your time card so no elder comes a-knocking.
I think that the Watchtower in the 1950s and 1960s were interesting. I am not sure at what point they turned into drones, but they did.

Anyone that can sit through a Watchtower study and say it was interesting needs to get a life. My worst nightmare would be to sit through another "Tower" study.
If that is not boring, I don't know what is.
giving my speech.
being pinned by my son.. .
the best day ever.. .
Congratulations! However:
Pinning: It's a ceremony where a new Nurse receives a small pin normally from someone close to them. It's usually associated with the recitation of the Nightengale Pledge. This sounds like something of Pagan origin. I am afraid that Jehober is frowning .
i think this sucker could start reversing membership within a few months..
LV101 - I may have slightly exaggerated, but I think you get my point.
1) science and technology appeared as a savior to mankind, yet the overall result points to the opposite direction.. http://aeon.co/magazine/science/why-has-human-progress-ground-to-a-halt/.
2) john kerry warns of catastrophe if climate change is not tackled.

You speak of climate change. I really don't recall any JW discussion about climate change in the 35 years of meetings I attended. Perhaps towards the end, but that was long after science identified this as a problem. So, again, what are the core teachings you speak of?

Can you remind me, what are the core teachings that have proven to be correct? For some reason none come to mind.

They are using various means of keeping numbers up. For example, when you see a new peak in pioneers keep in mind that you can pioneer with 15 minutes of field service as compared to the 90 hours just a few years ago.
i'm atheist and not ashamed of it.
however, it is so politically incorrect, especially where i live.
i have a legitimate concern that being out of the closet too much will hurt my career or neighborly relations--i know for a fact it probably would.. i'm really cautious about who i tell.. how about you?
I never considered myself to be cool enough to call myself an atheist. I have met more than a few atheists that are so absolutely certain about their position that I get very offended; Not because I believe in god but because I get intimidated by my inability to recite facts and figures in such absolute terms. No one should be that angry about their beliefs. I just want to say – chill out man!
I would love to believe in god - but I don’t. That being said, I choose to spend my remaining years on things other than debating the origins of life.
i always wonders, and now i know.

Does this include the dogs that end up on the dinner table in some cultures? Or, only those pets who become part of a family?
Sorry to be offensive - I am not a pet person.
