Memorial Invitation 2018 : Subliminal Message ?
by jwdoctrine inhttp://jwdoctrine.com/memorial-invitation-2018-demonic-subliminal/.
memorial invitation : subliminal message.
at first glance, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the invitation but on closer look a disturbing detail becomes apparent.it is in the upper right corner of the illustration of jesus christ celebrating the last supper with his disciples in the upper room...there seem to be trees outside the window but on closer inspection, all thanks to the pdf format of the invitation that allows you a very close look down to the fine detail, these are not trees but letters!!!.

I guess you could, with a bit of a stretch, say that the letters thus mentioned are present. If true, I am still not sure what this means. Please explain.

My dad RIP
by ScottyRex inmy dad died 2 weeks ago on sunday.
i will miss him so much.
he was the funniest most greatest man i have ever known.. granted for the first 30 years i wasnt that much keen on him and i don't think he was on me much either.....let me explain.. mum and dad met in 1964, mum was the prettiest girl in the town, mini skirts, raised hair, the daintiest figure, she looked the spit of audrey hepburn at breakfast at tiffanys.

Scotty,
I am sorry for your loss. It sounds like many of your family complications would have occurred even without the layer of JWism. In any event, I wish you a long and successful life.

How many are PIMO ??
by Phizzy ini know we cannot answer this, how many are physically in, mentally out (pimo), but i heard an amazing piece of news the other day.. an ex-p.o and ex-elder, a long time regular pioneer, and when i knew him a stalwart believer, went for a drink with another jw who has actually left, but is not df or anything.. in the course of conversation he came out with this bombshell "well, i am actually an atheist now, i just go along to keep my wife happy".. i also heard of a number of youngsters that i know personally who are simply living their life as they want, whilst making sure they don't get df'd for family and social reasons.. if as it seems the pimo's are a huge number, could there be a huge " awakening" where they all realize they are in a huge group, and they all say " eff it, lets call it a day on all the jw s**t ".
?.
wishful thinking, but.....just possible ?.

There are many in the congregation, including those in positions of leadership, that are closet apostates. I was an elder for several years and served after learning TTATT. I am convinced that at least one other fellow elder knew TTATT.
So, who are the others in the midst of brothers and sisters that are of a joint mind? We may never know...

Can anyone name a single incident when bethel has fed the poor ever ?
by Chook incharity is lacking from the house of god.
i remember reading once about some young pioneer sisters who needed emergency accommodation and where turn away from brooklyn because they weren’t special pioneers.
charity begins at home..

They are feeding the poor with their spiritual bounty. They seriously believe this.

Hi Patricia,
I live in NYC, a few years ago we had a very active meet-up group. Perhaps we have met before. I will put it on my calendar. I am not much for bowling, but I would like to stop by and say hi.

I remember my mother watching Billy Graham's ministries and taking notes. She was looking for gaps in his logic so that she could prove here faith as a JW. My mother was an old-school JW. She actually attempted to understand her beliefs and seek proof in the scriptures. I can't help but believe that, if she lived long enough, she would have been ultimately been able to connect the dots and see that the JW religion was a fraud.
In any event, I digress, please RIP, Billy Graham.

No Bible = No God?
by menrov insome doubt about the bible completely, some partially.
what if the bible turns out to be a product of humans, nothing divine.
would you still believe in a creator?.

A majority of the earth's population believe in god or gods. They also have no interest in the bible as we know it.
I think we need to develop a global perspective on spiritual issues. It is presumptive to think that our beliefs are better than others.

Where some of the money is going - from AM III
by Listener inthere is a public talk given by tight pants tony on youtube titled "the real armageddon, why, when"his talk, as usual, doesn't make much sense.
he says armageddon is not a nuclear holocaust or an asteroid hitting the earth it's god's war against all the political nations of the earth.
he talks about a celestial phenomenon that will be phenomenal.

This sounds like the rantings of an old man. He must have seen the "Bunker" videos one too many times.

printing vs circulation is two totally different concepts. The Wt is known to do "channel stuffing."
