  This makes no sense. Do other companies go door to door advertising their website? I don't think so.

  They should be advertising on the web, like normal companies do.

  This decade - the 2010's - your view of so far

  i had a relative exhort me to attend sunday am of the rc, to which i said no, already read the points online.. i said that i find this decade to be the most enjoyable.. people are relaxed, people have piercings, tats, hair colour du jour, facial hair, yoga pants (okay, not so great with the people of walmart videos), etc., and no one gets a second glance.. the music is awesome, movies are pretty good.. everyone still has their trials and tribulations, bad relationships, economic swings, etc.. but i feel happy.. the posted highlights from sunday am were:.

  anticipate future kingdom blessings!.

  a world without satan (revelation 20:2,3,7,10).

  This decade is very important to my life. This is the first decade free from the Watchtower. Let's see how far I can go without the constraints of the cult.

  Thanks for the link ADCMS. It seems the Watchtower is copying the playbook of the Mormons. I guess you can't argue with success. What works for one cult should work for another. But then again there is that blood issue and the no education stance - jws still come up wacky.

  jesus plainly told those who were standing in fornt of him that some of them would still be alive when he returned in his kingdom and they were and he did return for them as promised.

  there isno dual fulfillment or types and shadows anymore they were done away with.

  You make a good point, Desirious. This thread brought down a non-approved pro-jw video. How did they know it was talked about? Because this site is monitored "ever so closely."

  This was not an insignificant event.

  Way to go ADCMS! Keep in mind they are watching... You are no longer under the radar.

  A Thread for Cyclists - Where Do you Ride?

  i took up cycing a couple of months ago just to get fitter and lose a bit of excess weight.. i bought a second-hand hybrid bike (weighs only slightly less than a truck) and fitted road tyres.

  four or five times a week i will go for a ride after work for an hour or so.

  i am fortunate enough to live in rural north england surrounded by limitless quiet roads.

  They have instituted a citi bike system in Manhattan. Evidently this is similar to other cities. I have heard great things about this and am thinking that this is for me. I am very intimidated about riding a bike in the Manhattan traffic. Does anyone have experience with this?

  Lightning is very common in Florida. I remember being out in service and saw lightning strike within a few feet of me. If you have ever experienced that it is fu*&*ng scary. I went back to the car and called service day over. I was not going to be a causality for the good news.

  Question for believers in the Bible/God

  my question basically is - why believe?.

  now as a non believer i find it hard to understand how anyone in their right mind can believe in the supernatural and more to the point, live their lives according to an old book.

  not just christians obviously.. my intention is not to offend people.

  I really tried to believe, and in some ways I am jealous of believers. But in the end I just don't get it. I refuse to waste any more of my life expecting something beyond this life. I gave my first 35 years doing that and I just won't do it any more.
