"The Truth"

we all know that jws consider the wt religion to be "the truth" and refer to it as such.. granted, that phrase is used repeatedly in the literature and from the platform.. but it's obvious that much of what the organization used to require jws to teach house-to-house as important truths--even within our own lifetimes--has been abandoned.

it's been replaced by "new light" and "refined understanding.

what's meant by "the 1914 generation" is a prime example.. in fact, i think it would be hard to find another religion that has changed so many of its teachings, especially in such a short period of time.. so why do jws still believe their religion to be "the truth"?.

What happened to me was I was at a Con-vention and the speaker came out with total new light. It didn't make any sense at all. Everyone was clapping like a bunch of seals at this. I was confused. I could not take any more nonsense. The next day I didn't show up.

as many probably remember, in 2018-2020, multiple kingdom and assembly halls were set on fire in the state of washington, so fbi, atf, local sheriff and arson alarm foundation offered $61,000 in rewards for information leading to arrest of the arsonist.

the attacks (seven arsons and one shooting) included:.

march 19, 2018: two arson attacks - one at a tumwater kingdom hall and the second at a kingdom hall on cain road in olympia.

a simple " me" if you dont want to say more--or a short explanation about who is shunning you and how long has this been going on.. i'll set the ball rolling: my daughter--her husband and children; my younger son --no contact from them for 40 years...because i left their religion.. Longhairgal- I called some out one time walking in the street. They saw me and did a turn around and started to walk in the opposite direction for which they where going. Mind you I and my family have never been DF'D. But in their wasted minds we committed a crime since we grew a brain and don't want to be part of their group anymore. I scream out that they act like children on a school yard. If you look at Jesus did he treat people who disagreed with him this way? Speaks volumes of the Ridiculousness of the group.
