  JWs at Culture Fest

  the state university where we live has cultural festivals educating the public about art, food and music of the minorities in the community.

  it is also an opportunity for some to generate a little income selling their wares and food.

  the jws have successfully put up a booth right in the campus building and used it to actively proselytize and distribute literature.

  When you see them at their booth, have a group of ex Jw's ask some thought provoking questions. And watch them run! Trust me they can't handle it.

  new publisher locally

  some zealous new person must have moved in to the old congregation recently.

  i got letters today and a brochure.

  the return address had a last name ( no name i knew in the congregation-and they for sure never heard of me!

  From time to time I get a cut and paste letter from those getting time in the local hall. I Could respond but what good would it do? The letters go in the trash after a laugh.

  they were positioned in a walk way and i had to go right pass them.

  i tried to keep walking but my legs went straight to them like they had a mind of their own.. they pointed to john 17:3 on how to get saved.

  We were trained to have discussions, this new group of Jw's just direct you to a website and don't like questions. Just put up a sign.

  When I walk up to any Jw's at their cart they usually start packing up and leave real quick. Especially when I start asking questions. Questions really cause problems.

  Staying in physically for all the benefits

  i wonder how many are like me staying pimo for the great association and gathering etc.

  also find it very interesting having a front row seat watching the collapse of borg.. im not wasting any more time or money on anything i don’t want to do like preaching and mostly just go on zoom .

  there is nothing i want to do that would be considered disfellowshiping sin, i’m married and want to live by bible principles but i have serious doubts that the gb were chosen by god and are his one and only spokesmen on earth.

  I'm with the thought that the Jw stuff is real crazy. Yeah, I did that. I grew a mind of my own and now I think about just about everything. Especially someone knocking on my door. It's all Bullshit!

  I was poolside at my villa enjoying one bottle of beer and an elderette accused me of being a drunk. Of all places at my home, at my own bbq party this elderette calls me a drunk. Then, her elder husband starts in with me. I pointed out that others are drinking beer, why I'm I singled out? It is too bad I didn't have Tony Morris going to Bottle King on video back then.

  Being embarrassed by a JW when you were a JW

  i was out on the ministry(tm) in the 1980's when i was pie-on-earring.

  i was only a lowly publisher(tm) being coached by a rather odd elder(tm).. one of the publications(tm) had recently mentioned japan and the growth(tm) of jws there.. the elder(tm), brother(tm) i was with offered the magazines(tm) to the householder(tm).. then he stated, 'there are (gave the reported numbers at the time.

  i can't remember the number he stated), jehovah's witnesses(tm) in japan.'.

  Most Pioneers I worked with are very pushy. Like used car sales men trying to sell a lemon. I could never be so be so pushy. Once I heard no I was gone.

  How did you find Jehovah's Witness meetings?

  i personally have only attended a handful of meetings at kingdom halls.

  i did not enjoy any of them nor was i impressed by anything that was conveyed.

  perhaps others did not find them boring as i did.. nadia viotto has this to say about her experience.

  My last meeting I went to was so boring and dry. And to think the God of The Universe would use/have such "uneducated " people teaching more people bout God. At the Sametime frown and scoff at anyone who has an education or gains one. Is very telling!

  Front row seats watching the collapse of watchtower

  i’m a pimo ministerial servant and i won’t fade because i want to keep my front row seats watching what happens next few years.. my predictions are that this current governing body will slowly die off and the current younger helpers will be the next gb.

  they will eventually have new light that they were wrong about 1914 and the overlapping generations.. the new light will be something on the lines of the last days are now because of king of north king of south pushing each other etc etc.

  they will do their very best to burry old literature and try to change the past trying to make it sound like they were right all along just as they have done for 150 years now.
