Advice to reduce hours earn less and spend more time on the ministry
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inthe advice to reduce work and earn less to spend more time preaching has not aged well.. the cost of living crisis means many have more going out on necessities than they have coming in.. so many asked their employer to reduce their hours and refused promotion only to see their colleagues go up the ladder when they stayed lowly position with rubbish jobs thinking the end will be here soon.
next week midweek meeting is all about preparing for an economic crisis.. they say have a go bag and new advice for all jws to store food and water at home and grow a vegetable garden, i kid you not.
this is the new direction..

Longhairgal- From time to time in the past, my mom would give day old bread to those in need who where short of money. But this sister is so demanding. Alot of nerve. Wanted mom to make her a wedding cake for her daughter and just made a list of demands on that alone that mom turned it down. As for brother elder, he takes his work and reassign it to two MS brothers I have working for me in marketing. I'm at this point waiting for brother elder to mess up something so I can demote or fire and promote the two MS'S. The work better than the elder.

Like the "Pioneer Sister " who comes into my mom's bakery and demands day old bread for free since she is a Pioneer she is entitled to hand outs. Or the elder that works for me expects to get paid a full wager but leaves early. Not sure how to handle all this. But the sister gets no bread and the elder gets paid by his work.

When We lived in the US we were the odd family. No one spoke to us or invited us over for anything. There was a Spanish family in the hall that was odd like us. But you could really see the little groups in the hall. And the Spanish family and us were not part of the group. Very loving people.

JWs Using the system
by XBEHERE ini have it on good authority from a friend living near warwick that many bethelites filed for covid-19 economic relief from the us govt.
he said that one bethelite actually told him that they were being instructed to file some sort of income, not sure of the logistics of that with the vow of poverty and all, but if they did that then they would qualify for economic relief.
basically getting thousands of dollars for free.

what that means?.
elders will need the courage to follow instructions "may relate to delivering a symbolic hailstone message...".. in another section "major world events may raise some from spiritual slumber".

When I was I teen, I had a poster of Scareface say hello to my little friend on my bedroom wall. One elder who saw my room made a comment about the poster. I sent him his very own copy of the same poster. I think he had something against Italians since that's our homeland and he didn't like that we dressed like Mobsters. My dad told me he watches to much mafia movies.

Stage 4 Cancer, Stem Cell Transplant and Blood Transfusions

she informed me that i will need to sign a consent form for a blood transfusion.
the doctor will see me next wednesday to go through the consent form with me.

Predict JW life in future
by ExBethelitenowPIMA ina sister said the other day at the ministry group “”what is all this talk that the end is still some way off” she said she has been waiting for decades and she was told there is no way it would take this long.
some others said in an annoyed kind of way yes they would have made different decisions decades ago if they knew the end still would not have come by 2023.. how will the majority react in a few more decades time when the end still hasn’t come?.
why all that talk of sense of urgency decades ago?.

I see this too often, Jw's who didn't plan a head but choose to Pioneer or whatever. Now time has pasted. They are struggling and your family and you are not because we where looked down upon by the uber righteous for seeking careers and good jobs. They expect a handout from you even showing up at your moms bakery to try an get free bread.
