  The really cool feeling of community within JWs

  i remember going out with other jws after the memorial.. small gatherings.. picnics at some local landmark.. the feeling of closeness, camaraderie, friendship with like minded people you could trust.. haven't experienced it since i left.. really miss that..

  I agree. I think in part the constant reminder that "not everyone in the hall is good association", and the you better turn people in if they do something talk has put a damper on getting close to each other. Plus I don't know about you, but so much of the meetings is negative, all about what you are doing that will make god mad at you, and how horrible everyone is, and don't go outside because your neighbors are going to rape then murder you.

  Plus the majority of jws are poor and need every bit of extra energy to eek out a living. Who has time or energy to go out of there way to associate - its easier to watch TV and not have that pressure.

  1: where the "f" are you, since there are no signs of your existence?.

  2: why did you "create" life forms that by default hate to follow what your rules.. 3:.

  from what i read in the bible, why are you such a petulant, vengeful, bi-polar nut who seems to only look for flesh and spirit to kiss you enormous godly ass?.

  science.. landed a probe on a comet, found liquid water on mars and successfully completed a ten year mission to pluto.. developed the first successful vaccine against ebola, discovered another human species in homo naledi, developed cancer killing molecules and high intensity ultrasound therapies which avoid surgery and leave healthy cells alone.

  successfully mapped the human epigenome and developed the gene editing tool crispr, it's potential for medical and agricultural advance is staggering!.

  found a way to produce graphene for a 1000th of the previous cost, developed cheap and sustainable methods to supply clean drinking water where water borne infections have been killing thousands, scaled up production of clean, renewable energy.. there's loads more, please feel free to add to the list.. .

  ok, i'm splitting hairs here.

  but there will be no more tms in a week.. somebody isn't keeping up with jehovah's celestial chariot..

  is he jealous because beelzebub.

  is bring peace something the all knowing couldn't do.. think about it, if we were at the threshold of peace here on earth and god says hell no i will.

  in my country one can get dfd for pretty much anything the bullies want to df you for.

  but is there any specific guidelines that state one can or cannot be dfd for marrying a non witness.

  No, that is not a DFing offense in the Flock book. He could be counseled and there could be a talk given about marrying only in the lord mid week.

  A funny thing is that out in service for years we would talk about how PLAIN the bible is - and easy to understand. All you have to do is read it and you will see the simple truths. But in the congregation, its all a mystery that you need SPECIAL POWERS from god to understand, and since the R&F dont have that you have to listen to the GB who have a pipeline to god, except when they with the other side of their mouth claim they are not really special.
