was on the bus today and got into a discussion somehow with the driver and ok be ood his work colleagues about whether there's life in other planets, evolution and creation.

the driver believes there must be other life out there, i agree with him that life can't be unique to this planet out of the billions that exist.

his colleague who i think might be a jw by his attitude and reasoning skills thinks we're the only planet with life on it and it was made perfect and exact purposely for humans.

I have no problem with people who believe in god.
In fact, I wish I did again because it would make life easier (especially end of life).
Having that blissful feeling that there is something after I die would be so nice.

But.

I abhor people like Perry (our own Ken Ham) who not only want to ignore all logic an evidence and reason but want to pass off their bullshit to you as if it were "gospel", and not just unsubstantiated bs that needs to be taken on "faith".

It has been so saddening to see a good % of people here who won the lottery and escaped a cult, just to take on a different cult, even if its in their own mind.

being a jehovah's witness for many years has a very damaging effect on becoming who he really are, many of the drives we were born with get subverted to corporation's directives, and we stuff lots of ourselves into our shadow(jungian), as we take on the "new personality" we become an easy to manipulate corporate drone.

in other words we really loose contact with authentic self, and to some extent a little hollow.. a search for our true self will require some alone time and can be scary and filled with some perils.

So when JC came to Earth, all Satan would have to do to Thwart gods plan was to PROTECT JC at every turn.

If he kept him alive, there would have been NO sacrifice. God would have failed.

So either this super powerful creature was really stupid, or its a made up story.

You have no issue not knowing that, but you have an issue with not knowing where the universe came from.

god lives in Heaven with all his good peeps now, right?
Did Heaven exist forever?
Did god build heaven?
If he did, why, was he unhappy?
When did he build heaven?

god made all the little angels.
Why? Was he unhappy alone?
If he was, how long did he wait to make them?
Was he unhappy alone for a long time?
Why did he wait so long to make them?

god has been around forever?
If he was, how did we ever get to now?
If he was around for an eternity before us, how could we ever get to now?

Dont say god made time, that is a silly answer.
Was there a time before he made heaven?
Was there time between making JC and the other angels?
Was there a time between each angle being made?
