  Sisters handling mic's

  i saw a topic on another forum where a sister was supposedly carrying the mics.

  i was curious if this was even possible?

  is it new light or just a lie?.

  It is possible. Sister can do other functions as well. Like working behind the counter.

  The caveat is there MUST be NO brothers who could be qualified to do the work.

  I think they’re going to stop publishing the numbers sooner or later

  I really thought that was going to happen when they stopped printing the yearbook.
  But the just put the numbers on the website.

  Remember, they can spin the numbers however they want.

  If they grow, its Jahs blessing, if they shrink, its because we are near the end and satan is working hard.

  Shrinking numbers actually plays into their "close ranks" mentality better right now.

  The liability of being an Elder is HUGE.

  Brothers are not thinking about that. Remember what it was like, you have no idea about what being an elder means past getting to give talks and getting Praised for being a spiritual man.

  I dont believe that is a significant shift.

  From Elder PIMO friends, I am hearing the NUMBERS are more important than ever. That publisher who are not doing "all they can" i.e. pioneering, aux-pio... are made to feel that they are not wholehearted.

  Also, the phrase I am told is being heard over and over is "close ranks". There is if anything a hyper-fear of the world and apostates greater than any time.

  Also with the type-antitype BS, that was covered at an assembly and in a WT a few years back, and literally in the next month or 2 there was a WT article that was back to the same old BS.

  Encouraging publishers to not get into doctrine and stuff I think is more about making Service easier and easier to keep the numbers up, and to avoid getting into conversations that question the WT (since there is lots of negative media now). The carts facilitate the same thing.

  I am not DFed nor does anyone have any reason to think I have done anything wrong, but I am still shunned in public by some people who ironically I had helped as an elder. This is part of the SCARE tactics that are being used.

  There is no way in hell that candidates for MS or Elders are not scrutinized when it comes to Field Service time if that's what you mean. The thought of a brother who gets 5 hrs a month getting to be appointed is not realistic.

  They NEED brothers who are drinking the Kool-Aid by the barrel full.

  They will not put brothers in charge that are more about people than OBEYING the GB.

  There is NO softening from the GB in any way or making it a more kind organization. No idea what you think this "family" branding is. I think you are barking up the wrong tree.

  The very few occasions someone dropped by (I have been busy or just avoided it).

  I have reasons for not wanting to talk to them beyond the normal reasons. (my "fellow" elders especially)

  I have a very interesting story about my fade - though I don't trust putting it here in detail.

  i’m sorry that i talk about dating a lot, i know it is probably very annoying, but you don’t have to read it.

  but did anyone else have the most difficult time dating as a young jw?

  me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year in half, we are in our early 20’s, and we are still not allowed to hold hands, cuddle or kiss.

  You should fuck at a minimum 5 men before you even think of marriage. It is just that important. You can be blinded by affections only to find out your life is one giant sexual frustration when you marry the guy that you didn’t test out or you marry a guy with no other experiences to measure him with.

  GOOD ADVICE - Fuck 5 girls if you are a guy though :)
