  James - isnt the bible full of "stuff" you never expect. JWs "read" the bible daly - but its amazing in reality there like 30 scriptures we use over and over and over and over.

  The Elders are Coming Help!

  so the elders keep bugging me and pestering me about having a meeting with them to "introduce me to my new congregation" for some reason (do any ex elders know what that even means??).

  i keep postponing and making excuses and they are getting more and more aggressive.

  i finally agreed for them to come over today, but really don't want to..should i hide from them again?

  Did you recently move? Do you have reason to think they have something on you? What they said isnt code for anything. Have you been not going to meetings for a while? It may be just part of there -finding the lost sheep- kick. Do you know if the CO has just visited or is about to visit?

  What? Pagan worship in Israel? I am shocked! Shocked I tell you!

  Despite his imperfection, Hezekiah was a man of faith. He knew that his God, Jehovah, is a real person who has feelings.   How about every chapter being full of compete speculation. Like this week "Abraham may have been preaching to the Canaanites." The there is a reference scripture that in no way implies that!

  “Do not go beyond the things that are written,” will never be a scripture used for the Year Text :)
