They are saving Ramah Singh for next month.
You know they have to rotate between miss quoting real scientists and JWs who pretend to be educated but believe in fairytales.
so at around the 46 min mark - the are talking to this guy from ukraine who was a zoologist.. he talks about how he was a staunch evolutionist (who wasn't able to prove evolution to himself, by the way).
then when he studied nature through the lens of evolution - he found that nature contradicted evolution.. his big point came when he said - "imagine emptying a box of letter blocks on a table, and the encyclopedia britannica appears, or could a computer program come by chance.
so who could dna come by chance.".

Island Man - VERY TRUE!!
I remember friends using this line on people "Well have you ever read the Bible? if not how can you judge it?"
Guess that's only a 1 way street - Bet no JW say - let me read Origin of Species to see what its about....

OK all - with this piercing analysis - I have to RECANT and go back to the Hall.
F the millions of pieces of evidence that science and museums hold!
F the new DNA proof that is there for everyone to look at.
How can you argue against letter blocks not turning into the Encyclopedia Britannica !!!
Ex Brothers and Sisters - please recant as well - here is all the simple minded and eroniouse fact free ingenuous info you need! http://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODStudio/pub-jwb_201604_1_VIDEO
is doubt always an indication of moral failure-- faith vs. doubt?.
human survival depends upon a rigorous balance between perception and the means of testing first impressions.
nature’s own test is that of eater and eaten.. inside the food chain, predators blend with their surrounding habitat.
saw this while browsing through the good news brochure:.
is it any wonder people aren't listening to jws anymore?
what an absolutely delusional scene!
thanks to online media of movies and books i've recently been watching the twilight series.
issues of quality aside i enjoyed it enough.
i mostly wanted to see what the fuss was about and have the fun of seeing a movie that was banned from the platform when it came out.
I had a friend how loved Lord of the Rings - and moved to a different congregation when the movies were coming out.
He was NOT allowed to go and see them (as an adult) because the ELDERS felt it was spiritistic. They made the decision for everyone.
when i was a member of watchtower corporation, i regularly heard how it must be the true religion because of the growth™.
(phenomenal, apparently).. i wonder if they still hang onto this?
has it been boasted about at meetings recently?
1984 again.
From the letter to full time servants this year.
Even though the ranks of temporary special pioneers and special pioneers are being reduced, you can be assured that this is not an indication that the work is slowing down. (Isa. 60:22) The 2015 world report indicates that more than a quarter of a million new disciples joined us in true worship last year!
But the number baptised in 2014 was 275,581- in 2015 it was 260,273.
I don't know much about math - but it seems the number in 2015 has decreased - to me that usually indicates a slowing down.
From 1984
The chocolate ration in 1983 was 30 grams per week. In the year 1984, the chocolate ration went up to 25 grams per week. Winston himself is charged with the task of re-writing history to make this little feat possible.
hi all.. so i got a txt today from a very proud mum claiming that, the jw cart produced 300 book and magazine placements.
mostly from foreign speakers.. the shard is the tallest building in the uk.
this is where the cart was placed.. not a bad day they had really.
Again I call BS on this. 300 in mostly foreign languages?
So what languages?
How many different languages did they carry? Its general practice for the cart to be ALL 1 language as the headboard is in 1 language.
Did they keep switching the head board with different languages so those people would know what it said?
If they did give away 300 in different languages - they would need a massive stock of books in the "truck I guess" to keep filling up the cart that can only hold a few.
TOTAL BS

So how in reality could 1 cart be placing more than 2 books a minute continually? That sounds kinda fishy.
