At the RC, there was a short video of jdubs in FS in Mexico with the old Bible and I can't help but think that many in the English speaking audience thought "WTF is that!?" The woke ones in attendance were ROFL (on the inside)

2018 Regional Convention

At our location, they had an interview with someone that was basically shunned by her non-witness family for NOT going to college. Everyone gasped and shooked their heads at that idea. And, of course when she said she decided to pioneer instead, everyone clapped.

The urban legends we heard as JWs!

Uh oh asp59, we MAY have a true story on our hands! I had heard that story from a European brother, but later when talking to a Colombian brother, HE said that it had happened IN Colombia! If the person DID exist, pobresito!

Anyone heard about the guy that became a witness, then started putting in the DOUBLE amount of hours for his pioneering quota. When asked why, he said he was doing it for the witness he had killed in a past life or something. Please tell me, that's a myth, bc as much as we can agree most weak minded, this guy would be doubly so.

Yes, thank you WT for being hard asses on this subject. Being that a majority of "worldly" men in our area have beards, have fun trying to convert them. I'll have fun watching baptismal numbers continue to drop.

Continuing congregation mergers
by Are you serious inin the area i live in the pacific northwest, three spanish congregations we're merged into two a couple of years ago and in the next month or so four english congregations will be cut down to three.
both situations happened because of lack of growth.
a few years ago, i would never have imagined spanish congregations disappearing or merging but it's happening.

Growing a beard
by Coded Logic ini've always been currious as to how i would look with a beard so i've finally committed to doing it.
over the next 30 days i'm going to grow out a full chin to ear beard.. .
ps: any suggestions or advice on how to grow a beard would be much appreciated!.
