  Growing a beard

  i've always been currious as to how i would look with a beard so i've finally committed to doing it.

  over the next 30 days i'm going to grow out a full chin to ear beard.. .

  ps:  any suggestions or advice on how to grow a beard would be much appreciated!.

  I'm with the "don't shampoo your beard every day" camp. I personally use conditioner daily then pine tar soap once a week or so. I've been told by several of the "friends" that it looks well maintained. I look forward to giving you the "you get it" nod when I see you or anyone else with one.

  I feel it's kinda, in a roundabout way similar to my situation, when I gave assignments from the stage. Everyone LOVED my illustrations, but what no one knew is that i had "borrowed" them from a sermon website, that was used by the enemy. Christendom.

  Yeah, the video was interesting to watch as the only bearded individual in the audience. It seemed like time slowed down more than usual at the meeting as Lett spewed out his stupid remarks. But, I felt AWESOME and hoped everyone saw the imaginary middle fingers I had lifted to those flat screens.

  Are Beards becoming more acceptable due to decline in membership?

  i noticed a young brother with a beard being given more privelages within our hall.

  when he first grew his beard, he lost his privelages.

  but more and more recently he has been helping out a lot more.. the cobe is old school and a stickler for rules, but with the hall becoming more empty these days, and the need for young brothers, he seems to have relaxed on this particular watchtower/man made rule.

  "A brother lost privileges of field service in a hall in my area. If he shaves he can go out otherwise no privileges"

  @ Faith No More, that's REALLY odd. I was specifically told by TWO CO's that my service privileges WOULDN'T be affected. Sounds like the Elders in the bearded guys congregation REALLY believe they have authority outside of the Hall's 4 walls!

  my stepsons, aged 12 and 13 are proud to be the first boys in their school with facial hair, and are choosing not to shave it "because it's my choice!

  " much to their jw mother's chagrin.

  i am so proud of them for standing up to their mother, but if they want to shave later on it's their choice.

  Well, I don't know exactly where you're from (I don't need to know), but around here, there's a growing number of brothers that have beards. My congregation doesn't seem to mind me having one. If they DID mind, oh well, they shouldn't have one. I hope it's an indication that the rank and file brothers are waking up to the mind control.
