I suggest the letter is specifically for the Spain branch. On reddit there is a clearer screenshot of it and it mentions a couple of specific banks CaixaBank and Banco Santandor, as well as the datestamp:
If there has been a similar letter in the US, I haven't heard of it. However, it is likely such a move would be played out for all branches in time.
What I find incredible is that the branch would be taking on the mundane task of paying all the bills for a KH. Any payment, however small, would have to go through the branch software. That's thousands of silly payments of routine expenditures. Such a bureaucratic nightmare that I can't envision it working.

Quick builds
by moley inwhat was the standard of quick builds.
did they cut corners, ignore building regulations, were they unsafe .

I can't say they were/are unsafe, though a number of problems came up. One I helped on, the sewage drain went under the area that was later concreted for the parking lot. Insufficient settling of the soil resulted in a later break in the pipe a few years later. Quickbuilds have been often plagued with mold, but that is more of a design issue. Slab construction with less than optimal circulation of air and dehumidification.

WT 1980 Selective Service registration letter
by dropoffyourkeylee inwhile looking through my filing cabinet for another post, i found the following wt letter from 1980 that some may find interesting.
the wt's stance on the draft (us) has had a profound impact on doctrine and practice which is often overlooked.
many young men started pioneering so as to have a written record that they can present to draft boards to substantiate their claim of 'minister'.

The WT's stance on the draft (US) has had a profound impact on doctrine and practice which is often overlooked. Many young men started pioneering so as to have a written record that they can present to draft boards to substantiate their claim of 'minister'. This need for a written record is mentioned in this letter. I have come to believe that the 'ministry school' and the classification of 'pioneer' were both legal inventions created for one purpose only, to enable their stance in preparation for the draft issue.
Anyway, here is the letter:
