It's cool and it gets the word around.
To get one just reply to this post making sure to correctly type your current email address and your desired DNC address (and would a little praise and flattery kill you?)

You see!
This is why I just LOVE you guys - you're all so damned nice and helpful!Okay, your comments and suggestions have been taken on board.
hank you for keeping me focused. The emphasis should of course be on informing the public of the threat to family stability, health and mental wellbeing that membership as one of Jehovah's Witnesses brings and, importantly, providing them with a means of relief from that threat.
Well back to work, speak to you all again real soon

We should definitely work together and I hope that for my part the DNC project will be able to provide some level of funding, however modest, to individuals like Simon, Randy and others who give of themselves so freely.
As mentioned in an earlier post I have set September 1st as the public launch of the site. Go and see it before then by all means but please don’t spread the word around until it’s ready. Thanks.
YOU CAN HELP!
I need short articles written on a variety of topics – let’s be honest, that’s just what most of us do here anyway. The articles can be anywhere between 200-500 words [ish].
They must include references to WT material as support for assertions made [‘though if you can’t find them I’ll probably be able to help].
They need to be framed with the PUBLIC in mind – there is no need for scriptural refutation of Watchtower doctrine - no one cares!!Even topics like; “Dinosaurs were vegetarians and coexisted with humans!” can be valuable as they demonstrate the mental laziness, gullibility and blind acceptance that are engendered by WT membership.
Here a few topics you might consider writing on;
· ‘Paedophilia and the Watchtower’
· ‘Oral sex – forbidden!’
· ‘Women – know your place!’
· ‘Children and Armageddon’
· ‘Money and the Watchtower’And all the others that I’m sure you’ll think of.
Please remember, editorialise but don’t sensationalize. We want the public to see us as credible and reasonable; there is no faster way to ruin our reputation than to appear as fanatical – we can leave that to the dubs.
There’ll be other requests to come but this will do for now. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Let’s get ‘em!

I've used this story on the DNC site (not finished yet but coming along nicely).
I've built a poll to go along with it - perhaps you'd like to oblige and enter your views?
I would also appreciate some feedback on the 'feel' of the site. It shouldn't be too ex-dub as it's really for the public.
There are also some favours I'd like to ask but I'll save that for another thread!
Cheers!

By Hugh Schofield in Paris
The French parliament has approved a controversial new law to control the activities of religious cults. It is aimed at preventing the use of psychological and physical pressure to recruit and retain members.
Public opinion in France is generally supportive of the law
But human rights groups as well as the United States administration have warned it could seriously limit religious freedom in France. The sponsors of this law are proud to announce that it will give the courts new powers to clamp down on sects that resort to dangerous methods, such as brain washing or drugs, to lure young people into the fold.
One clause will permit judges to shut down a sect once it has been convicted of a range of offences, such as the illegal use of medicines or misleading publicity.
Another makes it a crime to abuse a person in a state of dependence, caused by techniques liable to alter his judgement.
Dire warnings
Public opinion in France, highly sensitive to the issue since the mass suicides of members of the Order of the Solar Temple six years ago, is generally supportive of the law.
But it has prompted dire warnings from groups such as the Church of Scientology who believe they are unfairly in the line of fire.
They have been joined by human rights organisations, leaders of the mainstream churches and the US Government in arguing that the legislation is dangerously ambiguous, leaving the door open to all kinds of abuses in the future.
Judges, they say, are given far too much latitude to decide what constitutes harmful activity.
And on the basis of limited evidence they could be able simply to shut down a new religion.
