  as an educated guess, the august 2024 watchtower may be delayed because 2 complicated subjects need to be discussed in this issue which haven't yet been approved to be included in the revised shepherding textbook.

  perhaps the revised shepherding textbook must be finalised before this watchtower is released publicly.. the 2 subjects may be as follows:.

  how to shepherd and appoint brothers based on the removal of the hour requirements, getting to know the brothers instead (does this mean prioritising appointing men who have auxiliary pioneered during the co visit and campaigns or men who are regular pioneers?).

  And now it's 332, that's 26 down today so far. Each month approximately 2.8% of credit and debit cards expire so from today's starting point of 558 subscriptions you'd expect a drop of 10 just from expired cards. That means that 16 subscribers took the deliberate step of cancelling their support for LE.

  All rough guesses of course but momentum seems to be picking up.

  Lloyd was a representative of the community. He didn’t say this outright and has consistently denied it since the scandal broke

  I'd argue that he DID claim to represent exJWs. His original jwsurvey site carried the tagline "giving a voice to the silent majority".

  Waking Them Up When They Feel Safe

  good morning all, i would love some genuine advice please.. i have an old friend who is still in the org, but has never been the very staunch type.

  however, she is going through a very rough patch in life, (past deeds from youth caught up and now is in prison) and i reached out to her by old fashioned snail mail.. by her reply she sounds more pimi than ever and finding some sort of comfort in the literature.

  would i be wrong to attempt to wake her up, would that actually be a cruel thing to do right now?

  Jesus told his followers that "he who has seen me has seen the Father", that he and the Father were 'one'. Fine, read the child killing atrocities commited by the Father as recorded in the OT and tell me again of Christ's unfailing love.

  Be there for your friend. Be kind, be supportive but leave religion out of it.

"the ministry of justice has determined that the religious teaching of this community is possibly not compatible with the constitution of our country in two aspects.

  Jehovaxx: I have several decades of deep searching and I’ve come to the satisfaction that humans just don’t know and I’m content with that.

  I know that a 1st century virgin couldn't have given birth, that humans can't walk on water or that all non-aquatic life bar a few breeding pairs went extinct 43 centuries ago.

  Of course there are things we don't know Jehovaxx but there are plenty of things we DO know.
